TE GERBER BREAST PUMP HELPED ME THROUGH TWO OF MY CHILDREN.  I LOVED USING MY PUMP. IT GAVE THE BREAK I NEEDED BY GIVING TIME TO MY SELF AS WELL AS GIVING MY HUSBAND TIME TO BOND WITH MY CHILDREN.  THIS ELECTRIC PUMP WAS GIVEN TO MY AS A PRESENT AND I WAS ALL BUT SCEPTICAL.  I LOVE BREAST FEEDING MY CHILDREN BUT EVERYONE NEEDS A BREAK, AND THIS PUMP GAVE ME THAT BREAK WHEN I NEEDED IT. ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT IT QUITE EASY TO USE. AND IT COMES WITH A CONVENIENT BOTTLE TO MEASURE THE MILK AND TURN AROUND AND FEED.  THE OTHER PUMPS I USED ALL HURT BUT NOT THIS PUMP IT SQUEEZES BUT NOT HURT.  THAT MADE ME FEEL AT EASY USING IT.  YOU HAVE TO RELAX IN ORDER TO GET THE MOST MILK AND THIS PUMP LET ME DO THAT.  THERE WAS ONLY ONE THING I WISH WAS BETTER THAT IS CAME IN DIFFERENT COLORS.  I HAD ONE BOY AND TWO GIRLS AND THE BOTTLES WERE ALL BLUE.  OVER ALL THE GERBER PUMP HAS BEEN THE BEST I USED, THE GENTLEST I'VE USED, AND THE LONG LASTING.

When I gave birth to my child, I decided to get me a Gerber Manual Brest Pump Kit. Because I did went to work (2 hours a day or so) and I was afraid I am may not be able to make it in time to feed my child. And I just could not imagine my son being hungry and waiting for me. So I bought that breast pump because, well,  everybody knows Gerber, right? I had a very good flow on my breastmilk but the pump gave me always a problem.. I had only  a few moments where it just came out like by a feeding. It should be done within couple of minutes. I would say not more than 8 minutes (my son ate about 8 minutes and a lot.) It was hard for me, I always angry at the breats pump. Firts I thought, maybe my breast are just to big for it, but it should not matter, right? You have an infants sucking on your nipples. Well, that product is easy to clean though. It has enough room for sponge. But the bottles came with it, where leaking a lot. My husband ended up always to wipe the face of my child from half of the milk of the bottle. I did not believe him first, thought he just dont have the hand for it. But he was right. I really would not recommend this product. I think it is just waste of money. I was way faster with pumping breastmilk with my hand than with the pump.

I purchased this because i knew I would breastfeed. This pump is not really good. For one thing is is VERy annoying squeezing that little trigger. it is though not as painful as the suction pumps but sometimes the rubber part would pinch my chest and hurt. i used this for 3 months and did not get very much out. I mean it takes a while for your rbest to really suction onto the pump and get a good flow going. I spent maybe 3 hours trying to fill up a bottle (using an electric I spent 10 mins filling it up).this is not a good way to get up your supply either. I would only use this if you were on the go and needed something compact. if your beast are engorged this thing is nearly impossible. After a while I would just squeeze my breast into the pump myself it was actually quicker. I just would not recommend this for a hard core breast feeding mother. But I think it is super cheap which may be why it is lacking in quality. Elecrtic pumps are so much better.

I got this Pump for my first child, It was easy enought to use, i guess as easy as i can be haven't tried any others. I used it for both of my children and it was recommended by my lamause teacher. It was an automatic pump. You want to be sure to always start off on a slow setting so you don't hurt yourself cause it never is very comfortable if you are looking for something that will be comfortable you won't find it. It will suck the nipple and the aerola in to express the milk into a  little bottle for storage. You may only get a ounce or two at a time. That is to be expected. This device will come with instructions so your not left to figure it out on your own. You will find it easy to do if you are to loose the instructions as it is self explanitory. Its an easy clean up and it has an easy storage capiablity. It does have alot of parts to it and requires assembly. It has a few settings on speed.

breastfeeding is good for both mom and baby.  babies who are breastfed grow up to be strong and healthy.  moms benefit from giving there babies breast milk because it causes the uterus to contract.  this will help moms get back into shape faster.  but what happens when you have to go somewhere without your baby?  when i had my son i had to go to work.  like it or not i had to keep working.  some mothers have  the  luxury of staying home.  but, lets face it now and days one income is not enough.  moms need to work too.  especially now with the economic crisis.  that reminds me its cheaper to breast feed too. and more convinient at least it was for me i didnt have to boil water or mess with powders. besides have u ever smelled powdered milk? yuck! i felt like a woman when i breastfeed my son.  i felt close to him like we were developing  a bond.  a really strong bond that would never be broken.  my son is a teenager now and he is so loving.  smart too.  he does well in school and he is tall.  i feel proud of him and even prouder of my self for having breastfeed.  it was hard at first and it hurt. but i didnt give up i kept thinking how good it was for him.  warm showers help minimize the pain.  but when he was asleep i would pump it out.  i would pump out as much as i could and leave it for the nanny to give to him while i worked.  when we would go out to eat it was easy to latch him on and id eat. no one had a problem with me breastfeeding in public  so i did.

The Gerber massaging manual breast pump was so easy to put together and use! I love the Gerber brand, and they didn't disappoint me. This is the third manual breast pump I've used for my second son, and although the other pumps worked fine, they were uncomfortable and took a long time to pump. When I first got the pump I was very upset because an essential piece was cracked and the pump wouldn't work. But after a quick call to Gerber, the piece was mailed out to me at no charge, and I have been using the pump on a regular basis ever since. The pump is easy to take apart and clean, and is very quiet, which is great when you are out (e.g. at the airport, church, meetings, etc.), and is small enough to put into a medium size bag. The bottles are really great too, they are my sons favorite, with silicone nipples and come in 4 oz. I love to tell my friends about this pump when they are looking for one, its worked so well for me!
