Most HelpfulThe Gerber Graduates Sip and Smile Cups are one of the three cups I perfer for my children. The younger one in particular uses these cups, while the older preschooler perfers things with characters on them (so does the younger one but she is not as picky about it).
Features I Don't Like about the
Most HelpfulI had tried a couple of the cheaper sippy cups to discover that they all leaked. After reading several reviews on the Gerber sip and smile sippy cups, I decided to give them a try, even though they were quite a bit above the price I thought was reasonable at about $4.00/cup. They are sold in packages...
review »My 19-mo-old twins use these all day, every day and they have been great. No spills! The only drawback was both the girl set and the boy set have a green one instead of separate colors for each sex, which can be a little confusing if you have both a boy and a girl!
Tip: If you go to the gerber website you can get a coupon for $1 off
These sippy cups are virtually leak-free, safe, affordable, and durable. Aside from the teething marks my son has made, they have survived many falls.
I love that they are BPA-free as well. BIG PLUS for me. Dishwasher safe and they fit into most all cupholders.
The only vain downside is that they don't come in many colors or styles.
I tried a lot of sippy cups and spill proof/ durability was my biggest concern. I settled on Sip n Smile because I have never had one leak even when thrown as long as you push the valve in good. I never had any problem screwing on the lid. I always buy the ones without handles and When I put the lid on I give it a quarter turn lefty loosey to line it up then I tighten it on to the right. I was angry though with how hard they are to clean until I started trying different ways and settled on a simple and sanitary solution. (I don't have a dishwasher;( After all the other dishes are done I fill...
review »Transitioning from bottles to sippy cups can be an extremely difficult task. As a mother of twins it was hard trying to find the right cup for my children to transition to that did not leak and held up well. Gerber Graduates Sip and Smile Sippy Cups made it an easy task.
I haven't had any problems with the Gerber sippy cups leaking but my eight month old seemed to have a hard time drinking from them by himself. My two year old daughter on the other hand seemed to do just fine with them. (She's constantly taking his sippy cups for her own :-).)
Gerber Graduates Sip and Smile Sippy Cups are affordable but hard to clean the lid and valve its rely nasty when milk gets stuck on there and u cant get it out, but its a very nice cup and very colurful and it dosent leak witch is grate.
i statred using sip and smile sippy cup right when my son came off the bottle. I loved it. They were so easy to clean and handle. The part that the liquid came out of was just long enough to the transition from bottle to sippy cup.
