Gerber Graduates Sip and Smile Sippy Cups —

These cups are very nice. They are cute, affordable, come in many sizes, and don't leak.
My favorite part about these though is the angled soft spout version. It is the only sippie cup my one year likes. They only thing that I do not like is that the tops are hard to clean and the spill proof valve can be easily lost and is even harder to clean.

I tried a lot of sippy cups and spill proof was my biggest concern. I settled on Sip n Smile because I have never had one leak even when thrown as long as you push the valve in good. I was angry though with how hard they are to clean until I started trying differant ways and settled on a simple and sanitary solution. (I don't have a dishwasher;( After all the other dishes are done I fill up enough hot water in the sink to submerge the cups completely disassembled, I add a little bleach and let them soak for a couple hours. Then I use on of those round brushed with the button on top that holds detergent to spin around on the inside of the lid. The brush is the perfect size and gets in all the cracks and holes. Then I simply rinse them. I have found replacements at the grocery store. they were about $2.50 for two. As far as the other review about the cup being dangerous, I am very sorry that happened to your little girl, that is a terrible terrible accident but I think that is exactly what it was. She could have just have easily cut her face on the floor or on tile. Accidents happen and though I think you are right a softer tip would be more safe for a toddler who is not yet stable on their legs but for toddlers with more practice I thinnk the cup is just fine. They are expensive though. P.S. Your little girl is still and always will be a beautiful princess!
