Gerber Graduates mini fruits

I have always felt it's very important to make sure my son is getting enough fruit in his diet so I loved Gerber Graduates mini fruits! They are dried fruits that are cut into baby sized bites so they're hassle free with no perpetration required and I don't have to worry about my son choking on a huge piece of fruit. My son always enjoyed eating Gerber dried fruits, he loved the flavor and texture and they were always easy for him to chew and swallow even when he was a baby. His favorite was always the strawberry and banana. These come in a resealable package so they're great for traveling and the fruit pieces stay fresh. Regular fruit can be a real inconvenience and mess to travel with so these are great when you're on the go but still want to make sure your child is getting enough servings of fruit. They are definitely a lot healthier then other kids snacks that are available. I have recommended Gerber Graduates dried fruits to all of my friends or family with young kids.

Excellent choice for older babies!

Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits are an excellent choice for older babies. The feature that I like most about these dried fruits is that they dissolve pretty much immediately when coming in contact with saliva. These are an excellent snack choice for older babies who have more of a solid food diet but are not quite old enough for all table foods. This product is also ideal for babies that do not have many teeth. I feel like this is a safe choice because of the speed with which the pieces dissolve in the baby's mouth. Gerber Graduates mini fruits are one of my son's favorite snacks. His fingers get a little bit sticky when he eats this product but that is to be expected with babies. Overall, I am very impressed with the ingredients listed and with the quality of the dried pieces of fruit. This product is a bit on the expensive side, but I think it is worth having a product that is safe for my baby and tasty as well.

Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits

I buy the Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits all the time. The bag that these come in is a little misleading. Once you open it, it's only filled up about a third of the way. That isn't much considering the price. There are made from actual fruit. It's cut up little pieces of strawberries and bananas that are freeze dried. The Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits are the perfect size for little fingers. My son can easily pick these up by himself. The bananas are a strange consistency, but the strawberries aren't. The fruits don't really taste the way they are supposed to. The bananas are very plain, and the strawberries are very sour. My son doesn't seem to mind though. The only issue I have with this product is the amount you get in a bag. My son will go through the whole bag in one or two sittings. If these were cheaper, that would be okay. It's just better to buy your own bananas and strawberries and cut them up yourself.

A good idea, but too small.

3

I was excited for my children to try the Gerber Graduates Mini Fruit, but once I opened the package I was left disappointed. The fruit pieces are cut up way too small for my children to be able to pick them up at all. I get the idea behind making them small, it's because they don't want your children to choke on them. But, on the same note my children ended up just picking up a handful and stuffing it in their mouth, causing a choking hazard too. These are relatively cheap, and they can be found at plenty of retailers, but they are pretty much useless because half the package doesn't even make it to my children's mouths and end up falling out of their hands when they try to pick them up. They aren't made with organic fruit either which I was hoping they would be. I would not recommend the Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits for traveling, since my kids always make a huge mess with these whenever they try to eat them.

I thought these would be a good, portable treat for my baby, and they were for the first day. You have to be careful to shut the pouch all the way, because we left ours open by accident and then when we tried them a few days later, they were stale and very chewy; too hard for my baby to eat. But if your little one can eat them all up in a day or so, then you should be fine. We did like that all it was is fruit in a bag, but dehydrated for baby is bite sized pieces. Quality of Ingredients The Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits are just that, fruit. Whatever you pick is the fruit in the package, dehydrated. It would be better if they were organic, because then you would know that no pesticides were used on the fruit, but its as natural as it can be without getting the USDA Organic seal. Safety They are fine when you first open the package, but I wouldn't recommend them the next day or so. They end up so stale and chewy, its seems like a possible choking hazard for babies just learning to eat food.

Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits are big on delicious!

Our family really enjoys having Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits on hand. We have a very picky eighteen month old daughter who will one day love a breakfast and the next day hate her breakfast. These Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits are great to have available for toddler's snack or a side with their breakfast. Our daughter loves these tasty treats. The mini fruits are convenient for a fast and healthy snack in a hurry. They are real fruits and very yummy. These healthy fruit pieces are a great alternative to chips or any other unhealthy snack. Also, our daughter does very well eating these because they dissolve in her mouth! The downside to this great treat is that they are extremely expensive for the quantity you receive. Also, with a child that drools while they eat, this can be very messy. I know we've had to clean out mushy strawberry out of our daughter's hair several times. I also wish they had more dried fruit varieties other than the strawberry, banana and apple that are always on the shelves. Overall, I think it is a great snack to treat to your toddler every once in a while.

Healthy on the go snack!

I had put off giving fruit snacks to my son because I knew these were high in sugar and I didn't want him to start early with a sugar fixation. Luckily these were not that high in sugar at all, and yet when you taste them, they taste naturally sweet! Not to mention the fact that my son loves them! I like the fact that there are many different flavors within the bag of fruits so he never gets bored whenever he is eating these snacks. In fact, I think of all the different snacks he likes, these are the only ones that have never been thrown on the ground! He always finishes these snacks and even though they get quite sticky and messy, that is a downside I am willing to live with if it keeps my son happy! I would love it if they made these in little to-go packages so I don't have to put them into ziploc bags all the time. This would make it easier to slip into my purse for when we are on short trips!

What a mess

The **Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Mini Fruits** are not on the top of my list of favorites by a long shot.  I don't like giving bad reviews, but this really is one that I would not recomend to many.  The **Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Mini Fruits** are super messy, sticky and just seem junky according to my healt food guru friend.  The **Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Mini Fruits** just do not hit the spot for us.  There are so many other more healthy options and cleaner options for toddlers.  The **Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Mini Fruits** seem so sticky and yicky that my daughter basically played with them and she did not want to eat them after she tried a couple of them.  Instead she discovered how messy they truly could be.  If you have carpet in your house beware.  THis is a disaster just waiting to happen.  Sticky color ladened sugar substances interfacing with carpet this is a toddlers dream!  Just not a mommy's dream.  Don't waste your money on this one!

Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits are delicious and worth the money!

Gerber Graduates Mini Fruits are delicious!  I have eaten many, and at times want to buy some for myself!  My baby LOVES the pineapple/banana flavor.  I love that they are just the fruit, there is no sugar added, and that they still taste great!  The take-a-long bag is extremely convenient and I love that it has a built in seal.  Its perfect for on the go trips, as well as snacks at home!  They are a great treat and I feel good about giving my child something healthy as opposed to snacks with high sugar and fat. I only have two complaints about the product.  One, is that if you leave them out for too long, they get sticky and VERY messy.  However, if you keep the bag sealed and keep liquid away from them, than you won't have that problem.  My other complaint is that it seems that there should be more in each bag.  It only takes a day or so, and I need to go and buy more, which makes them a little bit pricy.

My little one loves these and so do I!

I'm somewhat of a "health nut" and I have passed that along to my son, this is good and bad. He's somewhat picky with the snacks he eats, he only likes fruits! I enjoy cutting up fruits in the morning, packing them, and letting him snack on that throughout our busy day. This is, obviously, not very practical. Fresh fruit can be bulky, messy, and time consuming. We initially tried fruit gummies, he wasn't too fond of them and neither was I. I saw these [the Strawberry Banana] in the store, so I decided to give them a try. Low and behold, he LOVES them. They are tasty, not chock full of sugars, and so easy! Besides the occassional piece or two that get stuck in the carseat, they're definitely MUCH neater [and less sticky] than fresh fruit. They dissolve easy, so I don't have to worry AS much about the little guy and his chewing [or not chewing] habits. They fit in my bag, so I can just throw them in there. And, yes, they ARE tasty. I tried them! I would definitely recommend these to any parent, they're worth the price!
