These burp rags are my favorite!  They are made of soft flannel, and are thick.  They do an excellent job of absorbing spit-up, even in high volumes.  They are made in the style of a cloth diaper, so they provide plenty of surface area.  However, the cloth has adorable patterns.  My latest purchase is for boys, which came with 2 patterns, one with a sports motif, the other with cute stripes in blue, red, and green on a white background.  They even coordinate with Gerber onesies.  I purchased some of these for my first child 4 years ago, and I am still using them with my third child today.
