Gerber Children's Products Fun Grips Color Change Spill Proof Cup Review

I bought these Gerber cups when my first child, who is now 6 years old, was just learning to use a sippy cup.  I was unsure about which cup to buy, and I hated to think that I was spending money on something that I knew nothing about, but I decided to go with my gut and with Gerber's reputation.  I wasn't disappointed!

There were two cups in the first pack of Gerber Fun Grips Color Change Spill Proof Cups that I purchased, and I can honestly tell you that we are still using these same cups, (along with more of the same that we have purchased since) today.  Unlike several other brands and types that our family tried, these are difficult, if not impossible, to "kill."  Others have split or cracked, or their stoppers have broken, or they have had to be washed by hand, but not these.

I also love that these change color as the liquid inside warms.  It makes it easy for me to know if the cup has been out of the fridge too long and it's a great warning to me to get it cooled, especially if it's filled with milk.  The kids liked that there were colors to mix and match, and that they changed colors when I poured cold drinks inside.

My children all tended to chew on the cup's spout, but these have held up beautifully against their teething and their terrible habits.  The spouts haven't caved in, nor have them become unusable, even after many years of use.

Though the stoppers I have used from the beginning have sometimes not come entirely clean in the dishwasher, due to a mildew-type residue, soaking them shortly in a bleach/water mix in a bowl on my counter has cleaned them impeccably and has not changed their efficiency in the least. 

I buy these cups for new moms at baby showers, and I reccommend them to anyone with young children who doesn't know which way to look in the sippy cup aisle.
