Most HelpfulWell, my son is 7 months old and has two bottom teeth in the front. He is able to sit up mostly on his own, but being that I'm a paranoid mother and he's my first child, I leave the boppy pillow behind him for added piece of mind. They say these are some of the considerations you should make...

Most HelpfulWhen both of my sons were at their teething stages I didn't hesitate to buy Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits. They help babies relieve pain from teething and teaches them to feed theirselves.
You will know that these are right for your baby when they start to crawl on their hands and knees, eat thicker...
review »My son has eight teeth and is learning to pick up food and put it in his mouth. I love to give him Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits because he can hold it himself and gnaw on it for a good ten minutes. It is large, so it teaches him how to hold his food to self-feed. It is the first step in our self-feeding routine. They are very messy though. Be sure to have a wet cloth near by when your little one is finished. There will be Biter Biscuit mess on his face, hands, clothes and high chair. Don't make the mistake I made by giving him his first Biter Biscuit in the car seat while driving;...
review »I bought these for my fifth son, they weren't around with my older boys, but I thought what a great idea! I didn't realize what I was in for.
My son took right to holding it, it does have a perfect size and shape for little hands. In his mouth it went and within minutes, he was covered in the goo that resulted from his saliva mixing with this biscuit. That in and of itself wouldn't have turned me off, I have cleaned up many a mess, and it did seem to help him with his need to gum something and he was content.
About five minutes into his exploration of this new activity, he had gooed the biscuit...
review »The idea of the finger foods bitter biscuits is good. I like that they promote independence. I was however very surprised at how incredibly messy these were. My son liked them but would never eat the whole thing. He would end up being covered in soggy, sticky cookie. Also, when they get soggy the child could bit off a bigger bite than they probably should. I'm really not impressed. I can give my son other finger foods that are better, less messy, and safer.
My son goes through a biter biscuit faster than I can blink, but somehow in the sheer moments it takes for him gum it down to just a little crumb, he has slathered himself in crusty biscuit remains from the top of his head to his toes. Not recommended during car seat travel. Gives my son the necessary outlet for his sore gums.
I love being able to give my baby these biscuits! They are good for her and she can feed herself, a great starter food when feeding herself. They are easy to give her and come in a box, individually wrapped so you can keep them fresh and with you where ever you are!
