When both of my sons were at their teething stages I didn't hesitate to buy Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits. They help babies relieve pain from teething and teaches them to feed theirselves.
You will know that these are right for your baby when they start to crawl on their hands and knees, eat thicker foods, uses their jaws to smash food and can hold small foods between their thumb and first finger.
The Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits are shaped sort of like a stretched out peanut. My kidsdidn't have any problems keeping hold of this little treat. They taste sort of like a graham cracker. They're pretty hard but once it's oozing with spit it softens up.
There are only a couple problems with these. The biggest thing for me is safety. My son was able to bite off large pieces. Good thing I caught it because I'm sure he would have chocked. My other issue isn't really a big deal but the cookies are extremely messy. The biter biscuits turn to a mush and can get everywhere.
I have trusted Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits with both of my children. As long as you supervise your child there should be no problems. Have a fussy baby from teething or teaching your child how to self feed? I recommend trying Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits.
