I AM A FIRST TIME MOM; HOWEVER I LEARNED ABOUT THE GERBER PRODUCT BECAUSE OF MY TWO OLDER SISTERS, WHO HAVE KIDS OF THEIR OWN.  I SEEN THAT THEY ALWAYS TRIED DIFFERENT BRANDS (THE CHEAPER ONES) AND WAS ALWAYS HAVING TO BUY NEW CUPS/BOTTLES WITHIN A WEEK OR SO.  THERE WERE SOME PRODUCTS THAT SAID THAT THEY WERE SPILL PROOF BUT EVERYTIME THEY WOULD OPEN UP THEIR DIAPER BAG TO TAKE OUT THE SIPPY CUP/BOTTLES (BECAUSE THEY WOULD SOMETIMES MISPLACE THE CAPS FOR THE BOTTLES) THE DIAPERS, EXTRA CLOTHES AND BASCIALLY WHATEVER WAS INSIDE THE DIAPER BAG WOULD BE WET/SOAK, AND OF COURSE WOULD HAVE AN AWFUL...

We originally purchased much more expensive bottles for my son, now four months old.  After about two months he was screaming through his bottles.  Out of sheer desperation I used one of the Gerber bottles that we had in the diaper bag for emergency purposes.  He loved it and still does.  He has pretty bad acid reflux and these bottles are the best.   Other bottles have better marketing, that I did fall for, but these are the best bottles ever.  We used a different expensive brand for my older son and I wish we would have just gone with these from the very beginning with both of them. ...
