Costs too much

1

I will never for the life of me understand why they charge so much for a small thing of this juice when I could easily buy regular grape juice that is twice the size for the same amount. From what I have seen Gerber's baby fruit juice pretty much has the same exact ingredients as regular fruit juice just less sugar. I made the mistake of buying this juice for my little one and I will not buy it ever again. If I am going to give her juice I would much rather go through the hassle of making my own juice or even buying regular adult juice and watering it down so that it is not as sweet. This is one of those products that I think are purposely made more expensive than other brands just because of the fact that it is Gerber and it's for babies. Therefore they want people to feel like they should buy it because it's supposed to be better than other brands even if it isn't that much better.

Great quality juice but super expensive per ounce!

I am not a huge fan of giving my toddler juice to drink but he does enjoy it as an occasional special treat. Gerber 100% White Grape Juice is an excellent juice choice in terms of nutrition. First, it is 100% juice. It is not watered down and not mixed with other ingredients. I feel comfortable giving my toddler this juice to drink because I know exactly what is going into his little tummy. My toddler loves the taste of this juice and often asks for a second cup of juice in the mornings. What I do not like about this juice is the high cost per fluid ounce. It is easily double the price per ounce as compared to what I would pay for another brand of white grape juice. After purchasing this product once, I decided my money would be better spent purchasing another brand of 100% white grape juice. The quality of the Gerber juice is there but the price is just too much for my budget.

My daughter loves Gerber baby juice! She actually loves all the flavors. It's a really nutritious drink for little ones. It's easy on the stomach. Very healthy and good for your little one. Great portable bottle for on the go too. Highly recommend this to all parents!

Gerber White Grape Juice

5

My son loved Gerber 100% juice White Grape Juice. I gave him about 4 oz a day and he drunk it within a few minutes and cried for more after it was gone. I wouldn't give your child a lot of juice a day because it can make him go to the bathroom a lot. My son was having problems going to the bathroom and after drinking a few bottles of Gerber 100% juice, he was able to go. So this juice is very good if your child is constipated. My son loved all different kinds of the Gerber 100% juice. They have white grape, apple, mixed fruit, apple prune and some more to choose from. I would say that the white grape juice was his favorite flavor. Gerber is the #1 brand I choose, when it comes to baby food and juice. I trust Gerber in providing my baby with the nutrition he needs to be healthy and grow. I would recommend Gerber 100% Juice White Grape Juice. Quality of Ingredients I believe Gerber provides great quality in the food and juice they provide. The White Grape juice is one of my sons favorite juice to drink.

A yummy juice for kids

I really prefer not to give my kids juice on a regular basis. I hate the sugar content rotting their teeth, and don't necessarily need for them to be jumping off the walls. However, I have started buying Gerber white grape juice whenever one of them starts to show the signs of constipation. After much googling on the internet, I came up with this option when I felt my kid was too old to be eating prune purees. I put this in a cup diluted with water and it actually seemed to work after a while. Sometimes though I'd have to use it without dilution to give him relief faster. I try to have this on hand in my cupboard for just that reason, so I don't have to run out to the store last minute while by kiddo is suffering. Quality of Ingredients Gerber uses very quality ingredients and I don't worry about quality of ingredients with them. Safety Always trustworthy, and the containers of juice are always safely sealed.

Great tasting juice

5

I've been drinking this juice since before I had kids and I've always loved it. It's very tasty and healthy, and when my little ones came along, they loved it too. I love that this juice is actually made from juice and not a billion other chemicals and preservitives. It's also from a company that I trust. I've never had any problem with any gerber products, but I know they have a number you can call them at 24 hours a day, as well as a great website, and that helps me rest easy. I've never tried any other juice product with my children because i've never had to. From day one that I gave them this juice, they've always loved it, and I've always loved that it's healthy for them. It has a great flavor, and I know some parents choice to water down their juice, but even if you do that to this juice, the flavor is so strong that it's hard to notice a difference. This is a great product and you should try it if you haven't already.

Gerber Grape Juice is awesome for hydrating my son!

4

My nine month old son loves his gerber grape juice. He gets bored easy, so I vary what he gets, as I believe all should do. He goes from apple juice to pear juice (which really helps when he's constipated!), to banana/apple juice, to grape juice. I use all Gerber juice as of now, as I still want to only give him something labeled as "baby juice," and there aren't many brands that carry a range of juice products for babies. It is a little expensive for juice (especially the individually packaged ones in 4 oz bottles- 2.99 for 16 oz!), but this small markup is worth the convenience. When I buy the 32 oz juice i use 4 oz and then freeze the rest in 4 oz portions so I don't waste it (as it says it should be used between 5-7 days, and since I vary his juice selections so much, we would never use so much of one kind of juice in such a short period of time!). I also wish it was packaged in glass instead of plastic, and the organic versions are quite hard to find.

A lot of Hype

1

I quite honestly don't see why gerber thinks it can charge ungodly amounts for the exact same thing as adult apple juice just because there is a picture of a baby on the front and the packaging says it will be good for your baby's tummy. Sorry, i just don't see why it is marked up at a dramatic amount. the american academy of pediatrics suggests not feeding babies any juice for quite some time, however gerber specifically markets this to young infants. I began getting the advertisements and coupons for this product when my son turned 4 months old. This is way too early to administer juice, especially since gerber has not bothered to dilute this product, which can cause digestive issues in youg children. In addition to being unneccessary and costly, this product is specifically sold to first time parents that don't realize that it is ok to use adult apple juice if you choose to adminster juice.

way too expensive

1

As a good and caring mom, i want all the best for my baby so i am very much conscious on what they take in. Obcourse, what they take in right now makes a vital role on who they will be in the future. I am very much willing to pay anything for my baby's sake specially when it comes to food and juices. But its really bad when we pay too much for something that doesn't really worth it? I do heard gerber 100% juice white grape before and so i tried it. Honestly, it tasted sour and my baby doesn't like it. My baby don't have a sensitive stomach but i can tell you she has a sensitive tongue she likes yummy food and knows what not. Aside from that, i have read the label and i didn't like what i saw. it contains lots of sugar and additives specially citric acid. So i can tell that it's not that healthy. Also the price is too much compared to others but the benefits are the same. I think that water is still best for our baby.

Don't overpay for "Baby Juice" when it's just juice!

2

I bought a bottle of this juice thinking that it would be good for my grandson.  After looking at the ingredients, I didn't quite understand what made it different from the much cheaper 100% juice down the grocery aisle.  There was no difference!  After looking it up online, my suspisions were confirmed that most juices in the baby aisle are the exact same as other 100% juice, except they are much more expensive.  This is a perfect case of paying for a label. Another thing to keep in mind is that juice is not necessary and should not be given to your child daily.  It's really not that healthy, has a ton of sugar (natural or not), and it can rot your child's teeth.  Don't make the mistake of giving your child too much juice early on so that they get used to drinking something sweet and will never take just water.  Water is crucial and you want your child to be willing to drink just water... without any juice in it!
