I absolutely loved my time at Georgia Southern. I met by best friend there fall of our freshman year, in the dorm where we had so much fun, and she will always be my best friend. I met a lot of other good friends there too, who I am still in touch with. I had some fantastic professors who taught me well. I feel like I really earned my degree and learned a tremendous amount. GSU offers a wide range of degrees and programs of study and they are all great. There are many different ways to get involved in campus life and numerous opportunites to meet people. This school is an excellent school! Parents are kept informed of any problems immediately - I don't just mean with your students either. If there is a weather alert, a police incident, etc. an immediate email is sent out to parents. This makes me feel very secure with my child attending there. Not only does she have great classes and professors, she is in a safe environment.
