I absolutely loved my time at Georgia Southern. I met by best friend there fall of our freshman year, in the dorm where we had so much fun, and she will always be my best friend. I met a lot of other good friends there too, who I am still in touch with. I had some fantastic professors who taught me well. I feel like I really earned my degree and learned a tremendous amount. GSU offers a wide range of degrees and programs of study and they are all great. There are many different ways to get involved in campus life and numerous opportunites to meet people. The food served on campus is not bad! The newly remodeled library is amazing. The campus itself is really beautiful. There is a phenomonal recreational center for students and faculty to work out in. The city of Statesboro is a great size for a college town and offers a lot of good food and coffee options. There are quite a few churches to choose from as well. I loved almost every minute of my 4 years and I visit Statesboro often, especially if I can catch a football game. Sports are a really big deal and fun to attend or play.
