So, I attend Georgia Southern University, home of the eagles. Before I graduated I knew I wanted t be a eagle. So I arrive here and I love it! The people are so nice, the campus is beautiful, what's not to like. But as I go into my second year i began to see more things that, i don't really like. For example, we are know as "a party school" but what school isn't. All our party scenes are slowly, but surely being boughtout by Georgia Southern, which leave over 19,000 students with nothing to do, but find trouble. We're young, we jut want to have fun!!
Now lets talk about the greek life. Me being a young black women, i'm more interested in black sororities and fraternities. But they don't get recognized here much at all. The "greek row" where all the the greek houses are, has not one black sorority or fraternity? A little odd right?
Now education wise, most of the programs here are awesome. For example, business, nursing, biology. But I would say the biggest weakness here is the history department. Don't get me wrong the teachers are great people, but the history classes have to be the MOST failed of all.
Thats my opinon about GSU thus far!
NOTE: the reviewer indicated that they are affiliated with Georgia Southern University
