Landscape timbers are not resistant to quickly rotting.

I installed GP treated landscape timbers vertically in the ground as a landscape barrier wall to my raised flower beds around the 250 feet of my home. Within four years they began to rot off at the ground and at the fifth year they needed to be removed. These timbers ARE NOT TREATED to resist rot such as decking wood.The second problem is dosposal. My landfill will not accept them. What a nightmare.
