When the Georgia Aquaium opened in 2005 it claimed it was the largest aquarium - with size, number of species, and exhibits - but it also claimed it was the world's most engaging aquarium. Both claims are true, but one rquires effort on your part. The aquarium implements programs to keep itself the largest aquarium with plans to expand and by bringing in new animals every couple months. They do their part with engaging customers by having 4,000 volunteers take classes on their exhibits and walk around the aquarium exhibits asking and answering questions, sharing fun facts, asking them to play conservation games with them and ect. Some people will walk around the aquarium and leave without taking advantage of the engaging resources the aquarium provides, such as the people working and volunteering there. If you want your money's worth from visiting this place you will get it, as long as you don't ignore the people in the blue aquarium shirts wanting to share something with you.
