George Winston - Autumn Reviews

It was a Sunday; another lazy mild Autumn Sunday in Norfolk, Virginia where I was stationed with the U.S. Navy in the mid-1980's.  I lived alone in a small apartment (I had a studio), in a complex that shared a common courtyard with a very un-picturesque cement sidewalk running down the center, surrounded by dying grass.  The courtyard had no trees, or flowers, just ungainly, near dead bushes no one bothered to prune.  Foliage not withstanding, I liked living there because it was in the Gent section of the city.
