It does the job, but not the best
The George foreman removable plate 5 serving multi-plate evolve grill is not bad, however in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I paid about one hundred dollars which seemed like a pretty good deal, but once I started using it, I seen why it was so inexpensive. I've owned other George foreman grills in the past because they are convenient for in home use and reducing fat in some of the meals I make. However I was looking for an upgrade because the one I had was old and when I researched online, I seen this one that said it offered more options and different changing removable plates that let you cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner and that sounded like a plus for me being busy with two kids. I did some review searching on it and didn't find much except a few people going both ways saying they didn't like it or it was great. So I went online and looked at the details and purchased it. When it arrived, it looked as it did online so I seen no problem there and it was also lighter than the previous grills I owned. The first day I tried it out, I used it for breakfast because I figured that's the least amount of time I have to make my kids a meal. I used the plate that is supposed to be used for breakfast to see that I can't make anything else on it really besides waffles which is okay, but I was under the impression when it said you can it to make all sorts of breakfast foods. And I have to be honest, they were not the best waffles. They were a little hard and I followed the cooking instructions exactly. So I wasn't really satisfied with the breakfast part of it. However, when I used it for lunch and switched the plates to make a grilled cheese it wasn't bad, but then again you don't really need an expensive item to make a grilled cheese. When I used it for dinner, I realized how small it really was. I tried grilling some sausages and a couple burgers and I couldn't even fit enough for a family of four which was a little aggrivating. Yes it gets the fat out, but I do not like the way it cooks. My burgers were dry because they were probably overcooked and my sausages were dark on the outside and pink in the middle. It claims that you can cook on it all day long because of the different cooking plates, but they should be clarifying that a little because clearly in my case you can't cook breakfast lunch and dinner foods and it's more of a hassle than a helping hand. Not satisfied with it at all and because of the price, I didn't even bother returning it. I figured I'd give it to someone who is willing to try it. In my opinion, if it seems too good and it's cheap it's probably not that good.
