George Foreman Indoor Grill - GR10AWHT  —

The George Foreman Indoor Grill, Model GR10AWHT is the perfect size grill for two people.  Since my kids are grown and on their own (gee, it's nice to finally say that!), I am having to learn how to cook in different proportions.  Many times I come in from work and I'm dead tired.  I need an easy and quick meal to prepare.  Cooking on the George Foreman Indoor Grill fills both requirements and the meat comes out really tasty!

George Foreman Indoor Grill

The George Foreman Indoor Grill has 38 square inches of grilling area, making it a perfect choice for grilling for two.  The grill itself is about 10 inches in height and width and is white in color.  It weighs in at around 5 lbs.  The grill sits with a slight slope that allows for the grease to run off and into the drip pan that comes with the grill.  A specially designed spatula is also included that comes in handy for cleaning the grill.  It fits perfectly between the grooves and will not scratch the coated surface of the George Foreman Indoor Grill.

The grill itself is non-stick and is located on the top surface as well as the bottom.  This cooks the food evenly and gives you a perfect piece of grilled meat when taken off the grill.

Preparing the George Foreman Indoor Grill for cooking is really simple.  Just turn it on and wait about 5 minutes for the grill to heat up.  The red indicator light will come on when the grill reaches the correct temperature.  You are then ready to grill!

I love grilling on the George Foreman Indoor Grill because of the easy clean up!  You can't beat a cleanup as easy as wiping an appliance down with a damp paper towel!  Of course sometimes, cleaning will require more effort when something sticks to the grill's surface but this doesn't happen too often.

The one thing that I find as a negative aspect in using the George Foreman Indoor Grill is the fact that you don't have that "outdoor" grilled flavor.  However, the easy cleanup and preparation makes up for this.  You still get a perfectly cooked steak that tastes great when you throw it on the George Foreman Indoor Grill

We have taken our George Foreman Indoor Grill along on camping trips in the 5th Wheel.  It doesn't take up much room and fits on a small countertop surface easily.  The small size also makes for easy storage.

Recommendation

I highly recommend the George Foreman Indoor Grill.  It rocks when it comes to cooking a quick meal and comes with an easy clean up too!  It is inexpensive too!

I have one of these as well and took it on our camping trip last summer. I was surprised to see an article a while back in Guideposts written by George Forman giving some history about this grill. Great review!

We have one but it sits in the closet mostly. I works well- I just don't think about getting it out.

We have one of the George Foreman Grills. We use it often especially when the weather is nasty outside where we can't use the big grill. ;-) ~Krista Lynn

So easy and fun -- but with limited counter space I keep it in a cupboard. the problem with mine -- i always forget to go to the trouble of pulling it out.

It seems like everyone has one of these, except us! I'll put it on my husband's wishlist for later, but for now we don't go anywhere so we can live without it :)
