George Foreman Indoor Grill - GR10AWHT  —

This is the second George Foreman grill I have owned. The original grill was much, much smaller and I liked it enough to buy this larger version when I saw it for a great price $25.

The unit is stylish enough and both of the George Foreman grills I have owned seem to be made with high quality. I have never had any sign that there is any wear on tear with either grill despite what I would consider heavy use.

You can plug it in and it seems to be almost instantly hot, less then 5 minutes for sure. I also like the fact that it drains a lot of grease from the item you are cooking so it is definitely healthier. Pretty simple to use, just put the meat on the grill and close the lid, it cooks from both sides so no need to flip.

I don't like the little grease catching tray, it is too small for some of the greasier items, like hamburger patties. The grease spills out and makes a mess on the counter. I also don't like that it is difficult to clean. I have found a great, effective way to clean it but if you follow my lead be VERY CAREFUL. I have found a wet rag or paper towel when immediately used to wipe down the grill (IE: when its scalding hot) seems to work like a charm.
