I have been a believer in the George Foreman grills for a long time. I used to have a smaller one for years and years until my wife and I were given this bigger one as a wedding gift and let me tell you... this thing gets a LOT of use. Some of my favorite things to cook on this grill are red meats of every kind. Since they usually contain a lot more fat that runs out of the meat during cooking, a traditional pan would usually end up cooking it all back into the meat. But with this, all that nasty greasy runoff goes out and away from your meat - making for a healthier meal! These are also great for making paninis - or any other Panera-styled (or whatever fancy bread\sandwich restaurant you have around you) sandwiches you like. They are super easy to use and just as easy to clean. You can't put them in the dishwasher, but I usually just stick it in the sink and run some hot water over it with some soap and a small scrubber and it cleans quite easily. These things are great. Every family should have one!

I use this George Foreman grill all the time. I got three as wedding gifts. On occasion, I use it to quickly cook meat because it is super-fast, but most of the time we use our outdoor grill for that. Unless the meat is well-marinated, it sometimes comes out dry, although we have made hamburgers with great success. What I really like to use this appliance for is grilled cheese sandwiches. It whips them up super-fast and cleanup is a breeze, even if the melted cheese spills out. It makes the grilled cheese kind of panini-like. The only downside to this appliance is the fact that we lost the grease catchers, and now have to improvise whenever we do decide to cook meat, as the juice goes everywhere.

Here are my favorites features of our George Foreman Grill: 1. My husband can cook on it! He doesn't do a whole lot in the kitchen, but he feels totally confident using this appliance. Grilling is in his comfort-zone, and when the weather is bad and he can't grill outside, this is his solution. 2. The George Foreman Grill seals the juices in the meat by cooking it from both sides at the same time. Seriously, there is no other way to cook a pork chop than on the George Foreman Grill; they turn out amazingly well! Chicken, beef, you name it, the meat is juicier than with any other cooking method. 3. PANINIS - Yeah, that's right - warm melty sandwiches anyone? You don't have to stop at some expensive sandwich shop to get an amazing sandwich anymore. My favorite combo: Pesto (homemade or store-bought) spread on bread of choice (focaccia or ciabatta works well), sliced roasted chicken (pick up a rotisserie chicken from the store if you're in a hurry), sundried tomatoes packed in oil, mozzarella cheese and salt and pepper. Seriously it's amazing! 4. Last, but not least, the George Foreman Grill cleans so easily! Often times, I can just wipe it up with a damp cloth, and it's good to go. If there's a little more stuck on there, it comes with some handy scraping tools that get the job done.
