I live in Southern Arizona where the temps in the summer soar above 110.  I ask you, Who the heck wants to BBQ outside when it is that hot?  The answer might suprise you...noone.  Yet my family still likes to have steaks and hamburgers.  So I bought the family size George Forman Grill and I love it.  Not only am I able to cook schwans frozen hamburgers on it in under 5 minutes but I can also cook steaks on it.  My only complaint abou this device is I wish it were a little bigger.  Otherwise a great kitchen must have,

Over five years ago we bought a small George Foreman Grill. We love it. It still works after almost daily use but was getting to look old and it was small. George Foreman Grill-Family Size.

My hubby bought this to make quick dinners for himself when he worked really late.  He never liked the way food came out on it.  kind of dry and odd feeling.

BUT, We have never gotten rid of it, because it is EXCELLENT for Bacon!!!!! 

We all know how bad bacon is for you....well, try cooking bacon on this, I think its actually good for you now.  The grease is collected away from the grilling bacon!  the bacon comes out perfectly crisp and meaty at the same time!  It has a great full smokey bacon flavor....like its supposed to.  Nothing is worse than burned...

My entire family has ordered me to stay away from the kitchen. I hate to cook. I hate to touch raw meat. And, I can't even make a grill cheese without burning it. HOWEVER, since we got the George Foreman, I've been spending a lot more time in the kitchen. I still put on my little rubber gloves to get the meat from the package to the grill, but since I don't have to look at it while it's cooking, it's not nearly as bad.

 This thing is easy to use, easy to clean and fast. Did I mention I'm impatient also?

For years I have been wanting a George Foreman. My grandson had one and used to come over and fix us dinner. He made it look so easy, not to mention fast.

Finally this past Christmas I received one from my daughter..YIPPEE

The frist time I tried it I cooked chicken breasts. Thought for sure if there was a way to mess it up I would, but to my surprise "IT WAS AWESOME". In 8 minutes my chicken was done and it was perfect.  I must say it was so easy. Clean up was easy since it's non stick.

We had the sandwich size George Forman grill, loved it. Seen the bigger family size one, and we would not be without it now. It has removable grills inside for ease in washing. Wash by hand or throw in the dishwasher.

 I would buy one in a minute for a wedding gift. My son loves his, and uses almost every day. They cook faster than a propane grill, so have to watch them close. But the ease in cleaning makes it worth to keep on your counter and use daily. The grease runs off it, making the food much better for those on a diet or fat conscious.

Bought my first George Foreman grill at a Goodwill.  Best purchase I ever made.  We use this one to two times every day.  The ones with detachable plates would probably be easier to clean, but these aren't that bad.

The George Forman is a good product for a quick and simple dish.  Its easy to use and quick in cooking time, but because there is no heat adjustments it can burn food and making cleaning difficult.
