Forget it.

Great for drain off grease.

Cons

no power switch on older models, grills don't remove, Can be a pain to clean

If enjoying the food you eat is one of your priorities, skip this thing. It's fine for reducing the fat intake, sure, but still not worth it. It does not get hot enough to sear in the flavor of a steak (no matter how lean), a pork chop if cooked thoroughly turns out tough and dry, and even hot dogs bark their protest. And, personally, not being able to put the surface plates into the dishwasher for a good cleaning and sterilizing from time to time is another downer. Wanna-know how many owners cherish their grill? -- do a quick search on eBay and see how many are trying to get rid of them, or check out next weekend's tag sales.
