I purchased the very first George Foreman Grill ever made and simply wore it out from so much use.

I then received the George Foreman Grill with the 5 interchangable plates for Christmas and it is more wonderful than the first grill.  The plates will remove for easy cleaning and the recipe book that came with the grill has some awesome recipes in it.  The grill also has an adjustable temperature that the old grill did not have, which is a BIG plus in my book.  There is very little, if any, heat that comes from the grill, no smoking up your kitchen and has an adjustable lever at the back to make...

My husband bought me the G-5 for Mother's Day (2006).  I had asked for it for Christmas and my birthday, but he didn't think I was serious and didn't want to get in trouble for buying me a kitchen appliance.  He needn't have worried.  I absolutely love this appliance.  We use it at least once a week.  It's great for grilling chicken and hamburgers.  We use the waffle iron on the weekends for a nice change from cereal.  I love the interchangable plates.  It's like having multiple appliances but only having to find room to store one. Living in the south, I love that it doesn't heat up the... review »

This item is great.  Instead of doing just one thing it has multiple functions.  There is not much that you cannot cook on here. With the various combination of grill plates just about every cooking area is covered.  Much better function wise that the old grill only type. I def recommend this one.  I own this and our family uses it all the time.  It has a permamnent spot on the kitchen counter.  I tried putting it in the cabinet but it kept finding its way to the counter so now it just stays there.  One other perk of this item, with proper instruction this one is definately child friendly....my... review »

I was given a George Foreman grill a few years ago as a gift and exchanged it because it basically was a one function grill.  When I discovered the G5 and checked it out I had to have one.  When doing research online I discovered that there were two G5 versions.  I have the red one.

What I like about this grill is how fast it cooks.  There is a great chicken recipe in the book that my son enjoys.  Waffles cook up quickly.  Grilled sandwiches don't burn.   Love how grease leaves the meat.

One con to this machine is that when you are cooking foods that have grease, when the lid is raised...

This is a great product because you can cook meals in half the time. I actually use my convection oven less beacsue of this machine. It's nice to have fast food without having to leave the house. The plates are easier to clean than previous versions. I haven't had too many problems with food sticking but would suggest using a canola oil spray for certain recipes. This machine is pretty easy to use. You just preheat it to the proper temperature and put in the food and let it cook. My husband who doesn't cook could even do this! However, I wish there were more cookbooks available for the machine.... review »

We've owned the George Foreman G5 grill for a bout a year now and use it CONSTANTLY! Waffles (very crisp, evenly cooked - as good as any fancy-schmancy waffle maker) pancakes, chicken, steaks, pork, fish, shellfish.....on and on and on!   My favorite thing to do for dinner is plug the grill in - set on high, pound the bejeepers out of chicken breasts, pulverize some stuffing mix (or crackers, or corn flakes, sometimes adding grated cheese...you get the drift) - dip the chicken in olive oil, then in the crumbs, pressing them firmly, then onto the grill - the BEST chicken I've even made. Works... review »

This little grill does everything but boil water (literally).  I have been without a stove for a while and only had a microwave and a toaster oven.  You can't scramble eggs in a toaster oven and I hate microwaved eggs.  But with the interchangeable plates, I can scramble and fry and make omelettes.  You can use the omelette plates to make muffins, and brownies (strangely shaped) but quicker and uses less energy than an oven.  Steaks and chicken are grilled to perfection.  The control on the temperature helps tremendously and is a big step up from the one tempurature George Foreman grill.  Cleaning... review »

With the fact that it's just my husband and me at home anad I work a full time job, I look for something that is easy and convient to use and also has multiple uses and to take up less space. I live in a small apartment and have limited space so find this particular george forman grill  fits my needs so perfectly. I can use it for  meals thruoughout the day and don't have the concerns about higher electric bills from turning on the stove when there is just the two of us. I really love this appliance so much. It gets so much use that I end up just about needing two of them when I have company...

As a loyal George Foreman gill user for at least 5 years, it pained me to throw my original George away last year but I just couldn't get it clean enough.  This newly designed "G5" has 5 interchangeable, washable plates that makes clean up a snap.  I grill burgers and chops with the grilling plates, have made waffles and pancakes with the waffle and flat plates and can't wait to try and make a deep dish pizza next.  There is an option to "tilt" the cooking surface to drain off fat from meats or level it for waffles, pancakes, paninis, etc.  It's large enough to fit 4-5 burgers and has a high,...

I purchased the George Foreman G5 Indoor grill last December. We use it at least once a week. Much to my son's dismay, we haven't attempted waffles yet, but we have used the flat surface cooking grates for eggs and also grilled sandwiches. We've also cooked hamburgers, steaks, pork chops, chicken, and vegetables on it. It cooks fast, leaves food moist and flavorful, and washes up in the dishwasher. The grilling surface is still a bit too small for our family of four, but it's so much better than the previous indoor grills we've owned. I'm sure we'll still be using this when the weather warms and... review »

I purchased George Foreman's G-5 Indoor Grill for health reasons to get away from frying foods. But, I found out after using this grill you save a lot of time in preparing meals. After working all day, go home and prepare a healthy meal ready to  place on dinner table is all about time savings to me. Most families today are working couples with or without children, you look for ways to save time when you get home each evening. This is one of those healthy, time saving purchases that is also a great price. All I can say is purchase this one  or place on your wish list.

I absolutely love this grill and all of George Foremans grills. They cut the fat off of a greasy burger and cut the cooking time way down. It's fast, easy, healthy, and adds that grill flavor to any food you cook. My family uses this all winter long. We love to grill, but the snow just doesn't make it fun to do outdoors, this is the perfect solution! It grills the perfect burger and makes it healthier than if you just fried it in a pan so it sits in it's grease. Would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone who likes to grill rain, sleet, snow, or shine!

As a new convert to indoor grilling, I can't say enough about the George Foreman 5th Grilleration model. It is versatile, has interchangeable plates to be able to make sandwiches, grill meats, make waffles and even cakes. I use it daily to get meals on the table in record time. It tilts to allow any grease to flow away from the food and into an easy-to-clean tray and comes with two plastic flippers to handle anything you can cook without scratching the non-stick surface. This is a must-have appliance for any busy kitchen.

This is the third George Foreman grill I have owned.  I keep upgrading and passing my old ones on to family and friends.  They are one of the easiest to operate and clean up electrical kitchen appliances I have ever had.  We use ours to cook bacon, chicken, pork chops and steaks.  Mornings it comes out to make waffles that are light and fluffly and with proper spraying of the grill non-stick.  There is no mess to the rest of my kitchen, clean up is quick and easy and it does not heat up my kitchen.

I just purchased the George forman G5 grill, I love that you can do so many things on it and I paid a sale price which made it even better. The only thing I don't really like is that the plates don't seem to sit right, they are loose and you tend to think they are on wrong. I do also think that the light on the grill should go out or turn green when the item is done, like the smaller models. However it may, I haven't done that much cooking on it to find out. Overall it's a great product and I would reccomend it.
