A swing and a miss.

3

I am a huge Cheerios fan, but the General Mills Oat Cluster Cheerios Crunch was a swing and a miss for me. For one, I did not have that many oat clusters in my cereal! The ones that I did have were extremely sweet and very hard. The clusters were more like granola bars and they weren't that great. They took away from the authentic flavor of the cheerios. I don't recommend these.

No Clusters!

The General Mills Oat Cluster Cheerios Crunch cereal has a great taste to it there is just one thing missing, The Clusters! It is more expensive than the original cheerios so I would expect to get more for my money but I was wrong. It could be a great cereal if they added more clusters.

Good flavor, but the clusters are that of concrete.

The actual Cheerios in this cereal  are wonderfully sweet and crunchy, however I found that the oat clusters seemed out of place.  The consistancy of the cluster is too hard, in my opinion.  I nearly cracked a tooth on one large piece.  If the clusters were more crumbly I would've enjoyed this cereal much more.

Great Cheerios flavor with a little kick of clusters

I just bought The Cheerios with Clusters cereal tonight when I saw it on the shelf at the store. I bought it because I saw it and I thought it looked great and would be good for me too. I also bought it because I am pregnant and trying to eat things that are better for both me and the baby. Boy, was I right about this cereal;it's good for me and great tasting too! I LOVE Cheerios and adding some clusters in with them was great thinking! I would recommend this to everyone willing to try it! For those who aren't so willing to try new things, this would be a good experimental thing to try!

Simply multigrain cheerios with Honey Bunches of Oats clusters

I tried this product just because it was on sale and was ready for a change.  I find that the mixture of various grains of cheerios is somewhat bland and the clusters themselves are VERY bland.  I likened the clusters to Honey Bunches of Oats, however, the flavor of the Cheerios clusters lacked intensity.  To be quite honest, they didn't taste like much of anything.

great taste, okay crunch

I tried Oat Cluster  Cheerios Crunch cereal and absolutely loved.  The only recommendation I have to improve this cereal is to add some more oat clusters.  I now eat this cereal for breakfast and also as something to snack on.  I also do find that this cereal is a bit expensive since I have yet to see it go on sale.

great flavors with a crunch

I loved the taste of this cereal, the only issue that I have is that it needs definitely more crunch clusters.  The entire family enjoyed this cereal,  and one of them is an extremely picky eater.  This cereal is a good start to the day and is satisfying.

It's a keeper for this family.

Have to say this cereal is one of the tastiest we've tried.  My one son is not a cereal lover. Never bothers to eat breakfast.  But when I bought this one home to try.  He loved it.  Also great just to carry around for the times you need something to snack on.  This is one box that will always be in our home.

My Clusters are Missing!!!

Just when you thought there were no more possible iterations of the classic Cheerios brand, General Mills has come up with the NEW **Oat Cluster Cheerios Crunch**.  Forget *Berry Cheerios*, *Frosted Cheerios*, *Honey Nut Cheerios*, and *Fruity Cheerios* - the addition of crunchy oat clusters is what turned my head.  According to the cereal box (which I always read cover to cover), the cereal contains a perfect blend of five lightly sweetened whole grains.  Supposedly, there are also crunchy oat clusters but I found them to be few and far between. The cereal tastes pretty much like *Multi grain Cheerios* with a few measly oat bits thrown in.  I am very fond of the taste of oatmeal and I enjoy it in every form - cookies, bread, and cereal.  Overall, the taste of the cereal wasn't bad -- it just didn't have the punch of oats that I was expecting.  The so-called clusters are so irrelevant in the cereal that it really doesn't add much to the taste of the Cheerios.  Further, there is absolutely no crunch because the oat clusters are too small to provide that satisfying crunch that causes oat lovers to rejoice. Overall, I'm not sure that this is a version of Cheerios that needed to be made.  The classic "**O**"s haven't changed as far as flavor is concerned, and the added clusters don't provide any real impact in the taste.  If you're after a hearty oat cluster, there are other cereals that are more satisfying than Oat Cluster Cheerios Crunch.  After pouring this cereal into my bowl, I have to say I felt a little duped.

Oat Clusters? Where?

1

**Intro**Always on the lookout for new healthier breakfast cereals that still have some redeeming value of sweetness in them, I often gravitate to ones that have honey and oats in them or include the word "crunch." This made me have great hopes for the newest Cheerios cereal, Oat Cluster Cheerios Crunch. The name, though ends up having false promises.**Taste**Okay. I understand advertising enough to realize that the pictures on the front of a box are designed to encourage you to buy, but are somewhat exaggerated. I found the cover of the Oat Cluster simply false advertising. There are tiny little clusters, if you can even use that noun to to accurately describe it, of oats in this cereal. See the two pictures I have included, the box and my actual bowl, and notice the difference. The taste comes off as regular Cheerios combined with a more sweetened Cheerios and a hint of cinnamon. I really didn't detect an oat taste at all, nor was it particularly crunchy. Certainly seems like false advertising to me.**Nutritional Value**Here's where the cereal has it in the bag ... or box, as it were. There are only 100 calories per bowl, which is extremely low for a oat/crunch type of cereal. The sugar content is average, with 8g. But, the box only promises in very small, hardly noticeable type that it's a healthy cereal, low in fat, etc. What they want to sell us on is the Oat Cluster crunches that are negligible.**Conclusion**Consider this one false advertising. If I was only looking for nutrition and didn't care too much about taste, I would have gotten regular, plain Cheerios and at least would have known what I was in for. If the picture of what was really in my bowl is what you want to see in your own bowl, go ahead and get this cereal, but if you want what is pictured on the box, you'll have to keep looking.
