General Mills Fiber One Caramel Delight Reviews

This is a new cereal from Fiber One, by General Mills.  The cereal is similar to Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but with a caramel taste.  It has a sweet caramel taste, but is not overly sweet.  Keeps it's crunch in the milk pretty well.  It provides 9 grams or about 35% of your daily fiber along with 3 grams of protein. — Draw back would be it is quite high in calories at 180 per serving.  It does contain a lot of sugar, but you don't need to add more to it as you might with other cereals.   So if you are counting calories this may not be the best way to… read full review »

Fiber One's "Caramel Delight" cereal makes getting your fiber easier, but it does not taste as good as the other products in the same line. I was expecting "Caramel Delight" to have a powerful caramel flavor, but found it lacking. It's not that the cereal is inedible - it tastes fine, but the flavor gets a little lost once you add milk. It's like you're eating "healthy" cereal - the "clusters" options make it much easier to feel like you're indulging and taste much better. Just be warned - don't eat too much. I recently ordered a sample of this cereal as my family loves cereal and I am always on the look out for new ways to trick the kids and hubby into eating more healthy. The name said it all, I thought. But when the sample arrived and I opened the box I was surprised by the delicious smell that was coming out. It smelled like dessert!!
