I am a college student with less than 3 years to my driver's license so it was a nightmare trying to find a company that would insure me, much less one that would insure me me for an affordable price. My choices were GEICO and progressive, but the GEICO agents that I spoke to were more helpful. My friends have GEICO and one of them got a fender-dent from a hit and run while parked in the school lot. GEICO was very easy to deal with and did not give us a hard time for the repair.
