Geico — 

My husband and I were on his grandmothers insurance policy before she moved. Well we had to get our own policy and I shopped around for a good week getting price after price! Finally we talked to Geico and they gave us a good price so we got their Western Union quick collect info and went straight up to the store and had the downpayment sending so I could get my insurance cards faxed to me. We get home and called them with the conformation number showing we had paid it and everything. Well then the lady informs me that they will need MORE money to start my policy! I was enraged I had shopped around until I just had to choose. They gave me a price I didnt like but it was better than others. So I send them the last of our money to find out they werent even going to start my policy until I sent more money. My husband asked why it had changed within the half an hour it took to send the money.This is the moment when they informed us that they dont get down into your driving records and credit reports until after they have recieved the money. Which is the most STUPIDEST thing I have EVER heard. I asked for her to send my money back but she said they couldnt do that. So I told her I couldnt send anymore money that day. Finally after alot of fight I finally got the cards but still had to pay the extra money they wanted which after all the work I done to find the cheapest at the end of everything that came out to be the highest! So please always double check EVERYTHING when its comes to them!!
