Geico Insurance TV Commercials Reviews

Between the stupid green gecko, and the rediculous cave men, Gieco commercials have really begun to get on my nerves. The commercials are just so lame. Any commercial with the gecko was never funny or cute to begin with, but I just tollerated them. Now however, they are so annoying! I have begun to change the channel when they come on because they just grate on my nerves. The caveman commercials were funny at first, and I almost enjoyed seeing a new one, but now they are just rediculous. Is Geico that desparate for customers that they have to have stars on their commercials? The commercials are so stupid and the most annoying, not to mention channel turning. If their insurance is that great, why do they have to resort to having big name stars doing commercials for them. And so many too. They have more annoying commercials than anyone, at least it seems that way. And Geico does not offer near the great auto insurance that I receive from State Farm. I love the Geico commercials with the gecko, but the newer commercials that are using the classic television shows like "The Beverly Hillbillies" drive me nuts. I have been a customer of Geico since 2000.  I first started out with State Farm for my automobile insurance.  Never had to file a claim but switched to Geico after seeing the TV commercials that I could save money by switching.  Well, it paid off for me.  I have been saving money ever since!  I have had to file several claims with Geico, all of which have been professionally and efficiently handled.  On each occasion, I had a check in hand within 1 week after my car was inspected.  In those cases where the accident was not my fault,… read full review »

I thought the Geico Cave Man commercials were very funny and made a good point. Buying car insurance, especially comparing different companies and coverages can be very daunting and complicated. I will never buy GEICO Insurance because of their ads. They will not leave us alone. Talk about oversatuation. Mailings every week, flyer fillers, radio every hour, tv every hour, scoreboards, stadium walls, planes over head, billboards. .... even the freaking toll booths have GEICO ads.
