Beautiful property, wonderful people. My only suggestions would be to have better parking/transportation from parking lots and more security. We did not stay at the Hotel during our Nashville visit. We did, however, attend the Grand Ol Opry, shopped and ate at the Opry Mills Shopping Center, and spent many hours touring and playing at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. We encountered a number of people who worked for Gaylord Opryland Resort who were rude and ungrateful for our business. My gut feeling is that we weren't paying their outrageous room fees, so we were not worth even a smile. ...
read full review »November 2006. Took my mother and sister on what was supposed to be a week-long, relaxing vacation away from family. Booked a full package deal with shows. Our room was at the very far end of multiple corridors, even though I had explained, at check in, that my mother had recently had surgery and couldn't do a lot of walking. Our room overlook the convention area where thousands of teenagers lined the halls and ran rampant without supervision. We were even knocked over while walking. read full review »The room rate here is a bit pricey, even with a special convention rate. And the parking charges and food prices are completely ridiculous. But the building and landscaping are incredible. If you're in Nashville, park at the Opryland Mall and walk over for a tour!
