We used to go to Gatlinburg, Tennessee every few years when I was growing up. I haven't been there in many years until we went this spring. It was still the same place I remember, very relaxing and could be really romantic if you want it to be. There's lots to do and see for families too.
Great scenery with all of the mountains. It's a lot more "touristy" now than it was the last time I was there, but still a lot of fun. They have a huge Ripley's Believe It Or Not aquarium that is a must see too! We stayed in a hotel at the very top of one of the mountains that was wonderful - I think it was called the Park View hotel.
Can't wait to go back soon!
