We spent the last week in July of 2007 in a wonderful cabin in the Great Smokey Mountains. It was an extended family vacation for a group of 14. We were able to stay in a luxurious cabin for just under $3000 for the week. There were eight master suites with master baths, an indoor pool on the bottom floor with a workout room, a large kitchen suitable for serving large families, balconies off each bedroom, flat screen tvs througout, a floor that was a movie theater, and a floor that had a pool table, air hockey, darts, and an arcade style game. The washer and dryer in the cabin also made packing and keeping clothes clean much easier. DId I also mention the hot tub on the balcony. The cabin was very new and provided by a company called Maranatha Cabins of Distinction. They were also very accomodating . This place was unreal. It would be great for family reunions, New Year's Celebrations with friends, or just a romantic getaway. Look up this company on the web. You won't be disappointed. It may sound too good to be true. But it was really one of the best vacations I have taken with my husband and children. We were just outside of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which is like a Las Vegas strip for children. THe best time!
