I purchased a Gateway computer last year.  Desktop model.  It's fantastic.  I have never had any problems with it.  As a matter of fact, other people that have used my system have commented on how much faster mine is than their non Gateway systems.  The response time is very fast and everything about it is just perfect.  One of the best investments I've ever made.  I've had numerous computers in my lifetime and have always had issues with them.  I even once had a computer system built specifically for me.  It still did not top my Gateway.  I gave my previous Gateway to a friend when I upgraded to a smaller tower.  He could not have been more happy as he had alot of problems with his system, brand name of which I will not disclose. So, if you want a great computer system, definititely research Gateway.  I am sure you will not be disappointed.  Since we spend do much time on computers these days (and I don't see that changing), we might as well have a wonderful computer system to play on.
