At the time this was a pretty decent laptop to pickup at least for the price.  The screen is extremely large and bright, making it good for gaming or moving watching use.  Given that though larger screen will usually yeild less battery life because of the power it takes to iluminate the screen.  Additionally this laptop uses an AMD processor and DDR2 RAM vs. the newer nicer, Intel processors (i3, i5, i7).  Plenty of RAM though, as it comes installed w/ 4gb vs. many laptops that will only give you 2gb and expect you to buy and install another 2gb.  If you're looking for a good value, this is a decent laptop to purchase (at least for the right price).  But if you're into the cutting edge performance you might want to look at something with the a more up to date CPU, GPU and RAM.  Although This laptop is still decent, I have never been a fan of the AMD chipsets which always seem to lag in performance behind Intel's latest and greatest.

I got this laptop for home and I love it. This is easy to navigate, and the screen is an ultrabright widescreen which is perfect for me to see all that I'm doing. I love how fast it loads to the websites I visit the most. It has alot of features like usb ports for camaras, printers, and a mouse. The quality of the laptop is outstanding, it's really sturdy and not heavy to pack around. The battery stays charged for a long time which is nice so I don't have to find an outlet everytime I want to use it. I can even watch movies while I'm resting in bed, an added feature. The price is well worth it and I haven't had any problems. I would highly recommend it to others.

          I got this computer as a gift about 2 years ago.   it works great, i have many computer games on here and it process like 3 with ease.   I love it i am very hard on my things and it hasn't broken yet.   It has a very big screen.  It also has a very long battery.  I use the VGA port to watch internet videos on my TV.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             My verdict it its great

I have had this computer for about 9 months now and just think it is superb! It has a large 16 x 9 screen and a full size keyboard that lets me use this as a replacement for my prior desk top, but I still have the convenience & portability of a lap top. The unit has 4 USB ports for great connectability. On my last Dell lap top I was constantly plugging & un-plugging my printer, digital camera, or MP3 player, until I finally bought a USB hub. The hard drive is 250 GB, which I believe is big enough for a most people's needs, but I'm a hobby photographer and pictures & video can start chewing up the space. The battery life is good and the speaker/sound driver combo puts out good quality, and goes to great with my external speakers. The only thing I have negative to say is that for travel it is a little on the large size and a 17" case is a little hard to come by.
