Gateway MT6840 Core Duo Notebook Review

when looking for a new computer my husband and I searched everywhere for a new laptop. I had previously owned a HP desktop and hated it.

In the Fall of 2006 I started back to college after my kids were older and I felt I was ready.

It was a 14.1 Emachines N10, that I decided to buy at walmart for only $500. For a year, I loved it, but I decided I needed a bigger hard drive and screen, so the search began.

I bought this laptop, the Gateway MT6840 at Best Buy and as luck would have it my laptop was online at a lower price than in the store, Online was $499. and in the store it was I think $599. so they gave it to me for the online price and also knocked off another $50. which my total price was $449. I was also able to upgrade my memory at the same time.

I will be returning to school this fall and now my husband has the emachine and I still have the gateway but I am thinking of buying a desktop and my first choice will be Best Buy and Gateway. This has been the best computer I have ever bought. LOVE IT
