Gateway MT6840 Core Duo Notebook —
I purchased my Gateway laptop last year through the Home Shopping Network and was very cautious. I watched the segment on this particular laptop for a couple of days, but basically knew nothing about computer hardware's capabilties. Fully knowing that I had 30 days to try the product and using HSN's 5 flex-pay option, I cautiously placed the order and tracked the delivery online excitedly, which arrived promptly as advertised. After receiving the package, I opened the box and was using the computer within a half hour. I turned on the computer, followed the simple directions to hook up the wireless router and was continuously impressed with each passing day. It's also Microsoft Vista capable and because of that I was sent the software when it came onto the market.
