Gateway MT6840 Core Duo Notebook —

Not impressed with this laptop AT ALL. Very expensive, lower quality, not as fast as it should be, doesn't come equipped with standard windows. Still had to buy so many programs on top of the original expensive price. Don't recommend it.

Thanks for the honest opinion! I'm surprised that any Gateway wouldn't come with a standard windows. I'm wondering what Dell computer you would recommend, from experience? They seem fairly resonably priced (Dell) and have good no interest plans, too.
