This laptop is very dependable.

This is the first lap top I have ever bought, and I was very pleased. I got it on sale at Best Buy for $567 dollars. I've had zero problems with it so far, except that it gets hot very often. I'm a big gamer and this runs my SEVEN sims games fine. Also the webcam freezes, but I'm not sure if that's a problem with the computer, internet connection or software I use to chat online with it.

I purchased this laptop in May of 2008 at Best Buy.  My main reason is that I was going into the hospital and I wanted to keep in touch with my 4 year old via webcam.  That was the only problem this computer has. THe webcam freezes up all the time. Worthless in my opinion. But I am so glad I did get this computer. I love Gateway. This is the first computer I have gotten and had (Other than the camera) NO problems with.  It is fast and can handle all my photo's I upload and my games.  This laptop is definatley worth it.

This is a by far the best computer as far value goes. you get speed, lots of harddrive space, and lots of RAM, and it has High Def, and HDMI output, and stereo surround sound.
