So recently my video card decided to die in my computer, and i was pretty pissed i figured id be going threw this HUGE ordeal to get a new card but....I called gateway and the guy said "Oh ill send you a replacement card your still in you 1 year warranty." I was like....seriously thats it?! SERIOUSLY?! but wait....their servers were down your going to have to call back in a few hours. I said thats fine I understand, it happens, i was just so happy that this was so easy to fix. So I call back and tell the next guy the exact same thing, he tells me that Im going to have to reload windows....I say "Well, the previous guy said that all I needed was a new video card and told me to call back, I just want my new video card I dont want to reload windows and lose all my files, etc." and he said "Well sir thats what were going to have to do" and i got kind of mad and said "Well sir, thats not what were going to do I was told that this was going to happen so it needs to happen and now or Im going to have to talk to a supervisor". I spoke with the supervisor who completely handled it and couldnt stop apologizing for the misunderstanding and within a few days i got my new card, worked 100% perfectly and everything is good as gravy. I will say I spent about an hour on the phone between the first guy and the second guy and then the supervisor but, it wasnt a hassle at all there all around good people!
