The Gateway GT5468 is a great computer for everyday use.

The Gateway GT5468 has a Genuine Intel(R) CPU 2160 @1.80 GHz. It comes with Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium. This is a great computer for basic tasks like emailing, social networking, and college related courses. A free one-year subscription to MSN Encarta Plus is included. I use this computer almost everyday for my college courses. There are two USB ports that are very easily accessible in the front of the tower. The memory card reader is also very easy to access. I installed Microsoft Office 2003 on this computer, but it doesn't seem to work as well with the Vista operating system as it did...

Most powerhouse product available in its price range

For its price this computer gives you the most bang for your buck. Out of the box it is ready to go with everything you need--As long as you already have a monitor to work with. The support given for retail units is somewhat decent but does have its downsides such as a non toll free number for support.
