I received a sample of this and was pleasantly pleased. I have since purchased this again and I love it. I am middle aged with medium to dry skin. this glides on easily has a nice smooth feel and I just love it. It is also very refreshing.

I love this moisturizer for my oily skin. It absorbs quickly into the skin. It won't sit on your face. It does not leave your face oily. Smells good. The only con is that it can be hard to find in stores sometimes.

I first tried this product over a year ago and have been using it ever since! I use it twice a day (morning and night) after washing my face and after using a toner. There are so many things about this moisturizer that I love but the main things that I love the most is how a little bit goes a long way, I only have to dip the very top of my finger into the gel a few times to moisturize my entire face. The fact that it's a gel instead of a cream (lotion) leaves my face feeling airy and moisturized all day long without the heavy, weighed down, caked on feeling that most facial moisturizers leave. It also absorbs quickly so there is zero wait time in the mornings from moisturizing to applying makeup up immediately after. I have fairly sensitive skin and my facial pores seem to clog quickly and easily with most facial lotions after a few days use, but NOT with this... after extended use it's left my face smoother with a healthier glow and boo clogged pores! I love it!!!

I used this moisture rescue gel cream after washing my face before bedtime. It wasn't heavy but still moisturized as well as a heavy cream. Not greasy or oily at all, made my skin glow. I haven't been able to find it for sale lately.

I made this purchase several years ago, but remember it well as I used it for roughly 2yrs during the warmer months. It's a thick gel that immediately melts into your skin upon like application. It's really soothing and cooling at the same time & It gives great lightweight hydration without feeling heavy or greasy in any way. It also leaves no sticky film afterwards and it has a very light fragrance that's quite pleasant. I highly recommend this to those that are looking to hydrate their skin, without having to use a heavy cream. Great product!

So I love how lightweight this moisturizer is especially in the warm summer months where I don't want anything heavy on my skin. A little goes a long way and it does feel moisturizing when I apply it. I do have some issues with it though. For starters I hate the packaging. I wish it was in a squeeze bottle instead of a jar you have to dip your fingers in which seems unhygienic. I also question some of the ingredients. Alcohol is very high on the ingredient list which a moisturizer should not have so much of as it dries the skin. Also, there is a lot of fragrance. You cant really smell it once it's on the skin but I don't need fragrance on my face.

I absolutely love this face moisturizer. It smells amazing! The best smelling face moisturizer that is out there I would have to say. I would use it constantly, I wish that the container was bigger. You do not get too much product for the price. The moisturizer goes on really smooth, I do not need to combine it with anything else to make my face feel nice. I do however wish that it was sold in other places than target.

I am a big fan of Garnier products and the Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Cream is no exception. I spend a lot of time outdoors during the summer months and I need a lightweight moisturizer that I can wear under my sunscreen. I absolutely love this refreshing gel cream. It is a very light product. I apply it right after I wash my face in the morning and it feels wonderful as it absorbs into my skin. I find that it works well with my sunscreen. I need to protect my skin from the sun's rays and this gel cream does not interfere with the effectiveness of my sunscreen. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. It is made with high quality ingredients and I am impressed with how a little bit of it goes a long way! Effectiveness This product is refreshing and does an excellent job moisturizing my skin. Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream (wow, that's a long name!) was my first gel moisturizer, and now I'm hooked. Some background on my skin: I have combination skin which can become oily at times, and for a long time I thought that adding moisturizer to that would be making the problem worse. (Wrong!) I've learned the error of my ways, but when it's particularly warm or my face is feeling oily, it can still be hard to slather on a thick cream. That's where this gel moisturizer comes in. It's lightweight, but still feels refreshing and hydrating. It soaks in well, doesn't leave a residue or sheen, and sits very nicely under sunscreen and makeup. It's especially good for daytime, although you might find it hydrating enough at night too, especially if you don't have oily skin. If you're still shy about moisturizing (and you should be moisturizing every day!), give this gel cream a try and see if it wins you over.
