I may be in the minority, but I was not overly impressed with this product. When I used it the first time, I thought I was in love, as it lathers SO silky and smells amazing. But I'm not particularly impressed by the cumulative effects. Effectiveness I'm not sold on the effectiveness, and here's why: It lathers in a nice, silky way and is very soothing while washing, but it takes an abnormally long time to thoroughly rinse off (especially when you're not in the shower.) Also, I noticed some cumulative effects that I didn't like. My skin felt grimy a few hours after using it, and I'd feel the need to wash my face all over again. It may just be coincidence, but I also broke out not long after I started using this, and I rarely break out. Overall, I just didn't get a nice "clean" feeling from this; it soothed my face when it felt dry, but within hours my face would just feel grimy and gross. Ease of Application Lathers SO nicely, and feels like pure silk on your face. But rinsing is a pain. If you're doing it in the sink, be prepared to splash water everywhere as you try to remove all traces of this face wash. Scent The smell is fantastic. Fresh, clean, soothing. Definitely my favorite thing about this product!

I wear makeup almost every day. Foundation, eye makeup, mascara, that kind of thing. At the end of the day, I want to wash my face and have all of the makeup come off. It should feel clean and moisturized, ready for the next day. Per the norm, I bought this product on a sale and coupon deal at the store. The price isn't bad, but I still like to get it for cheaper. It's really not a bad product, I just don't feel like it works well for what I want it to do. It doesn't seem to remove mascara or eye makeup, even though the makeup is not waterproof. And it doesn't even seem to get all of the liquid foundation off. I often have to either wipe off with a makeup remover first, or go over my face again after. On the plus side, it doesn't seem to dry my skin out, but I am not sure it really feels moisturized after either. Would I buy it again, probably not.

 During winter my skin gets very dry, so I have to always switch my face wash. When I was at the store I saw this face wash and just decided to try it, since it's not too pricey and I like Garnier's products. I have been using this cleanser for about a month now and I have to say, It delivers!! It never leaves my skin dry afterwards and does a good job of cleaning my skin, and I wear a full face of make-up!     This is a rich, creamy cleanser in texture and you don't need a lot either, In the morning I use just a pea sized amount and at night I just double it and it does the job! it also has a light fresh scent that is not at all overbearing or how I like to say, " it doesn't hit you on the forehead!" ha ha!! I do tend to be sensitive to strong smells, anything too strong does really feel like it hits me on the forehead!      All winter long, while using Garnier's Moisture Rescue, my skin has been very moisturized,soft and happy!! This cleanser is also very gentle which I think is a plus for sensitive skin types!  I am very happy with this product, I just think it would be perfect if it had some anti-aging or anti-wrinkle  goodies in it too! lol!  But over all I am very satisfied with the results, it does what it says and I'm happy with that!!   I would recommend this cleanser to anyone needing a good, inexpensive, moisturizing cleanser. Now for a quick tip! yay!!:      When you're on a budget like a lot of us are right now, it's beneficial to cut little costs here and there since they do add up! Aside from cleansing, our skin needs exfoliation, even during winter (mine more so during winter) so what I like to do  when I want a good exfoliator is, I simply mix my pea sized amount Garnier's Moisture Rescue with a some sugar (enought to make it grainy) and scrub away!!! This is really beneficial because not only is it cleansing, its moisturizing and exfoliating your skin. It's a good three in one!!

As I stated in my review for Garnier Nutritioniste Gel-cream, I'm at a stage where I still get acne but am prone to over-drying.  I've tried many different products, but most of them were geared towards frequent acne.  Needless to say I experienced a lot of dryness on my face.  I usually used foam cleansers in the plastic bottles that come out as foam since they are gentle and just remove impurities from your face.   Then I heard of Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue and decided to give it a try.  I bought all 3 pieces to the set; the face wash, the lotion, and the gel-cream.  The face wash actually says foaming.  Basically you have to take a smallish amount in your hands and lather it really well and it will become more foamy.   It feels gentle on my face.  I don't feel like my skin is over-dry after I rinse it and pat it dry.  Instead my face just feels clean and refreshed.  I use the moisturizers after washing it and overall my face just feels clean and moisturized.  I think at my stage of skin, this is the proper skin care for me.

This new facial cleanser is very fresh smelling. It has Grape water extract and apple water extract in it. It is very thick coming out of the tube but foams up nicely with a little water. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. It does not leave it tight and dry feeling. You almost do not need to put on moisturizer when you use this product. I would not  use this product on a daily basis though because it seemed to make my face feel a little oily or maybe it was too much moisture over time since it says it is 100% oil free.  The packaging is a nice bright green that fits well with the product brand. The squeeze tube is well control squeeze. No big blobs come out and you only need a small amount to get the job done. I have sensitive skin and this did not cause any breakouts with use.  I like to use this one after being out in the sun all day. It's good to help replenish my skin.
