Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Fortifying Shampoo Review

My daughter and I both have long naturally curly hair, and while I have learned to embrace my curls quite some time ago, my daughter is thankfully embrassing hers as well.  Her hair is much thicker than mine is, and all one length so she just likes to let her natural curls hang down, but she likes them to look neat and frizz free.  So she has really gotten in to products especially made for people with curly or wavy hair.  There are a few brands that we like, one is expensive, the other is hard to find and the third is Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Fortifying Shampoo. 

She uses it along with the Wonder Waves conditioner, and her curls always look beautiful and frizz free.  I also enjoy using the shampoo but sometimes I will just use the shampoo with out the conditioner if I am short on time.  But I never have trouble combing my hair after using this even by itself.  So that little bit of conditioning really works. 

Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Fortifying Shampoo has active fruit concentrates in it, it has Vitamins B3 and B6 in it.  The lightweight conditioners also help to curl up the hair a bit, keep frizz at bay and keep hair shiny. 

It is a very thick textured shampoo and takes longer to wash out of my hair than most shampoos, and you really only need a little because it goes a long way.  It also smells really nice.  I am not sure how to explain the smell, maybe sweet and citrusy.  The only problem I have is the bottle. When it is full it is kind of heavy and the thickness of it makes it hard for little hands like mine to hold on to it especially if it is wet and slippery. 

But the large bottle means you are getting a lot of shampoo for your money, and the Garnier products are very reasonably priced.  They are slightly more than the budget brands, but less expensive than other name brand hair care products.

I like the way my hair looks when I use it. It has good volume to it and curls up nicely.  My daughter's hair looks really good too.  I am very please with Garnier Fructic Wonder Waves Fortifying shampoo and have been impressed with all of the Wonder Works products as well.  They are really nicely priced and work well for us Curly Girls.
