Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Ultra Strong Review

Quick View: I have long, straight hair that I often style simply. I tend to have limp hair even though it's thick so I hate to use products that weigh it down. But I need hold. What to do? I tried Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Ultra Strong and liked it. It really isn't THAT strong of a hold but it works well for my casual style.

My Take on Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Ultra Strong

This spray contains bamboo extract which is supposed to strengthen hair. It also has anti humidity ingredients that help control frizzies in humid weather. The can is 8.5 ounces and costs around $4.00. It has a traditional aerosol spray top that tends to clog now and then. I have to run it under hot water to get it going again.

The spray smells nice and goes on cleanly with no flakes or residue. It doesn't make my hair super hard although it does make it a bit stiff which is OK as long as it isn't hard like I'm wearing a helmet. I hate that feeling and that look.

My hair stays in place and yet stays bouncy and it doesn't look frizzy. I have some split ends due to the long length of my hair and the styling tools I use and this spray helps to make them less noticeable.

I don't agree that this is ultra strong but I do think the spray can hold a style well that isn't super complicated. I just usually wave the ends toward my face and add products for body. Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Ultra Strong manages my hair well and it really does work in humid conditions.

In all, for a small drugstore price, I like this spray and will use it as a finishing spray. If I need super strong hold, I will use something else but I rarely style my hair where I need a spray to plaster it into place. This one works fine for my needs.

My Viewpoint

Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Ultra Strong is an inexpensive, nice smelling spray that wards off humidity and holds hair in place without  stickiness or hardness. Too much will make hair a bit stiff but you can brush through it. It washes out fine and doesn't flake. 4 stars. It's not ultra strong but it's fine for everyday styles.
