I used this mousse for a very long time, I always thought my hair was just super dry and damage but I realize after I stopped using this product that my hair was damaged because I used to much of this. Small amounts work ok, but it doesn't hold and barely controls the frizz. Did more damage to my hair than anything else.

My hair is slightly wavy when no product is used. If I want a look like involves a lot of curl and to enhance my hair then this is the product I grab. It works really really well. I use it mainly for the curl factor and not so much for the hold factor. Maybe these two things should be in conjunction together but if I want curl then I use this and do not expect to have it hold in any way other then to hold the curl. I think what I wrote above could be slightly confusing but that is what I take out of the wording on the bottle. It says curl construct and that the product does do but does it mean that the mouse is extra strong for your hair and your curls. One thing I don't like about this product is that it smells a little weird to me. I like a fresh clean scent on my beauty products and this product leaves a strange smell in it's wake. It's not so horrible that I don't use it but it bad enough to just make mention of it with this review. I buy this often and use it when I want a curly look. So I do recommend it.

I have hair that is wavy once it dries. This mousse is great. It leaves great stiff curls that last all day. It sometimes can make the hair crunchy, but I have found that it is typically when I put too much in one spot. To prevent this, just rub it on your hands first then scrunch your hair with it. It turns out great. It also works better if you wait until your hair dries a little bit.

I have long, naturally curly hair. Normally I use herbal essences, but on my last trip to walmart I wasn't able to find it so I resorted to Garnier. My normally bouncy, ringlet curls are now lifeless and crunchy. The worst part is that after I shower, my hair is a tangled mess! I spent the past half hour untangling my poor hair! I will never again purchase this product and I suggest that no one else does either!

This gel doesn't do anything for my hair. It is greasy and I curled my hair then sprayed it with this, but the curls fell out within 30 to 60 minutes. I was looking forward to it working because I loved their anti-dandruff shampoo so much. I like the smell, but othEr than that nothing else is good.

garnier fructis style curl constructi mousse is average. it does not curl your hair, i have to put rollers in and curl it myself, it helps hold the curl a little longer if i didn't use it, it dries hard so it does have extra strong hold and it doesn't come out until you wash it again.

Ok, I will admit I am a tad strange, but as I get older my hair has me beat.  You see over the years I had a mild wave to my hair and as I get older I look like the rest of my family.  All have very curly hair and now I do too. I might have more curls, but they can be unruly with fly away ends and frizz.  I found 6.8 oz Garnier Fructis Style Curl Construct Mousse.  It's a very light mousse that goes one without any stickiness witch is a plus for me.  It gives my curls a little boost and gives me a frizz-less look that I have been looking for.  I love this in the front section of my hair because for some reason it has less curl then the rest of my head and instead of putting in some rollers or have the front permed I just mouse and go.  I get great curls and blends in to the rest of my hair. It holds all day and doesn't weigh my hair down at all and this is also a plus because my hair is very baby fine. When it's almost dry I lift it up a bit with a pic and I have even more volume. Easy to use: Wash and condition hair, towel dry, apply to slightly damp hair and scrunch, for a curly Q look (my fav, but won't do it all the time in the same areas) do all of the above, but instead of scrunching wrap your hair around your fingers creating a curly Q and blow dry with a defuser.  (The reason you don't want to get in the habit to keep putting your hair around your finger and twirling it all the time (this goes for people with straight hair too).  It can cause Alopecia Areata ~ Balding in spots, but it can be treated by doctors. It's ok to curly Q once in awhile, but please don't get in that habbit. I found I was twirling my hair more...then smacking my hand. ** *I am not saying this product will cause Alopecia Areata...the continued twirling of your hair around your finger in the same spot could cause it. *** The fruit Micro-waxes do a great job for the fun look of curls. I am having a blast with my new look and **Garnier Fructis Style Curl Construct Mousse Extra Strong** is a really big help.

I picked one of these up after reading about how to make waves in my hair. It works fairly well. I'm not familiar with how well these products are supposed to work, but for my purposes, they did just fine.  It didn't leave a lot of sticky residue on my fingers either. These do sort of dry up fast though so I would follow the recommended directions to use it on fairly damp hair. Not so much on wet hair after a shower but dampened. It smells rather nice and you dont really need a lot of it, unless you want to put a lot. The one I got was a small can with a bunch of mousse inside. I don't agree with some cons on here that say it makes your hair crunchy. I think they're just trying to dry their hair with a bit too much heat.  Overall, this is a great product and does what it's described to do. It's fairly cheap and seems that you can get it anywhere they sell Garnier products. It's well worth trying out.

Garnier Fructis Style Curl Construct Mousse Extra Strong does not work well for me. I have fairly thick hair with some body and a little frizz. It is mostly straight and waves a little, especially in humid weather. It used to be almost waist length and now is about shoulder length. I have used this product at both lengths and in all different types of weather as well as with different methods of application and in combination with other products. I found this product to be very sticky and it leaves hair crunchy. It does have a nice smell. Unfortunately it did not construct curls for me, it just sort of acted like a hairspray or regular mousse that held my style in place in a very stiff and crunchy sort of way. I assume it works better if you naturally have very curly hair however it is so sticky and leaves hair dry and crunchy that I still would not use it. I will have to keep looking for something that enhances my waves on those humid days.

I hate crunchy hair.  As a woman with curly hair, I battle this issue all the time.  I have used countless gels which always cause crunchiness.  I've tried other products like "cream gels" and such that don't leave my hair crunchy, but also don't keep frizz down. I must say that it feels strange in the mornings to only put mousse in my hair.  It feels like I'm forgetting something!  I have only been using  this product for a few days, but I have been very pleased with it.  Today my hair is slightly crunchy, but I have a feeling its more that I used too much product (by accident).  The other days I have used it, my hair has stayed soft and the curls remain under control.  I am so glad to have found a product that will allow me to have soft manageable hair without all the frizz. My 5 year old daughter has my hair and I am sure she will be glad that her mother has scoped out all the good products already so she won't have to!
