I tried different Anti-dandruff shampoos and found this works very well. At first I didn't expect it to work as well as Head and Shoulders but was pretty satisfied. I like how it has a deep cleaning feel and does a light scrub with micro beads without being hard on your scalp. It was able to keep my dandruff condition in check. I would recommend it for low to mild dandruff condition. Effectiveness It was able to keep my mild dandruff condition in check. Dependable compared to average Head and Shoulders. After about a couple of uses, I could feel and see the results. Scent Scent is decent without being overbearing.

I have had dandruff my whole life. I have never found a shampoo that would get rid of the problem. I work in the public and needed to find something that would help. So, I tried Fructis Intense Cleanse Anti-Dandruff and it is wonderful. Now, it is all I use. Well worth the money. Effectiveness Wonderful!!!!! Really works. Scent It was great to find a dandruff shampoo that had a great scent.

I was at first shocked by the gritty nature of the shampoo, but found that it really did help to remove residue and build up.  My daughter loves that she doesn't have itchy scalp anymore and that her hair smells so nice.  Mom just has to be extra careful when using it because it so so not "no more tears."   Effectiveness For my daughter's hair, but not so good for mine. One newer shampoo for this purpose is **Garnier Fructis Intense Cleanse Anti- Dandruff Shampoo**, a product that removes dandruff and controls itching. **Shampoo Commentary:** Garnier Fructis Intense Cleanse Anti- Dandruff Shampoo is a shampoo specially formulated to eliminate dandruff and the by- products of dandruff. This anti- dandruff product contains natural extracts and B- vitamins to purify the scalp while also working to remove flakes, strengthen hair, and stop itching. Its scent combines citrus and soap and the consistency is thick with tiny microbeads for deep- cleansing action. I experience the occasional problem with an itchy, flaky scalp just like anyone else and since my problems are generally minor, I'm not too picky about the anti- dandruff shampoo I use. Most of the time, I will resort to a reliable product like Head and Shoulders or some other popular brand to handle the problem. Garnier Fructis Intense Cleanse Anti- Dandruff Shampoo is new and since I have had generally good luck with other Garnier products, I decided this one was worth trying. Garnier Fructis Intense Cleanse Anti- Dandruff Shampoo is a thick shampoo and one of the qualities that consumers will remember is the small, visible specs. As you massage the shampoo into the scalp, the specs gradually dissolve away. As the specs diminish, lather slowly builds and the scalp feels clean and refreshed. Your hair, once dried, looks and feels clean and is free from flakes. The product seems to work as promised in these areas and it seems fine for a mild case of flakes and itchiness. Among the drawbacks to using this Garnier product, one that I wish was different is the scent. The fruity smell is common with Garnier hair care products and while not terrible, it isn't the type of scent I prefer on my hair. Another potential problem for some is the effectiveness of the shampoo. It isn't the most powerful hair care product on the market for dandruff control so it will prove basically useless for a tough case of dandruff. I use dandruff shampoo daily, and I have found that the shampoos with Zinc Pyrithione as the main ingredient, such as Head and Shoulders and house brand versions, among others, are the most effective for me. So, when I found a coupon for Garnier Intense Cleanse Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, I decided to check it out. The shampoo was on sale at my local grocery store and used Zinc Pyrithione as the effective ingredient. So, I bought it and have used it several times. I'm sorry to say that Garnier Intense Cleanse Anti Dandruff Shampoo is not worth buying. First, the intense cleanse effect is achieved through gritty microbrads sloughing off flaky skin. I don't like the way the microbeads feel. I find them to be almost a foreign object, requiring me to rinse much more thoroughly than I would otherwise do. Next, the shampoo did not make me feel clean. My hair regained its itchiness and flakyness almost immediately. I didn't feel very clean and what clean was there did not last very long. I do not recommend Garnier Intense Cleanse Anti Dandruff Shampoo Effectiveness didn't clean well or mitigate itchiness and flakes Scent scent was nice.

I am one of those unfortunate people that have dry, itchy skin literally from head to toe and I find that more often than not, anti-dandruff shampoos are more effective for the itchy skin on my scalp than dry scalp shampoos are. So after spotting Garnier Fructis Intense Cleanse Anti-Dandruff Shampoo at the store I thought I would give it a shot. And I'm so glad I did! It relieves the itching sensation on the first shampoo, it was an amazing experience. Usually the relief is only temporary, especially since I live in New England and the winter weather is not kind at all to those with dry skin issues, but I noticed it lasted all day. Then I noticed it lasted all week. Now I can get away with washing with the Garnier Fructis Instense Cleanse Anti-Dandruff shampoo on an average of once, sometimes twice, a week and use a regular shampoo and conditoner the rest of the week.

It is a product that anyone can use, regardless if he or she has dandruff. If you do have dandruff or dry scalp, this will help and will promptly eliminate it. If you do not have dandruff or dry or bad scalp, this product will prevent your getting it. It is truly amazing. I really like the product. It works well, and I do applaud Garnier Fructis on this amazing product. I find this product lathers very well and quickly and smoothly. It is of high quality, but the cost is very inexpensive. It leaves my hair detangled, so that minimizes the chances of hair breakage or damage during combing and styling. It actually makes my morning routine quicker and easier. This product leaves my hair shiney, silky, and very manageable. It leaves my hair very natural-looking. This product is truly awesome, and I encourage you to try it soon.

I had bought and used the older version of the Garnier Fructis anti-dandruff shampoo and loved it. Iam a black woman, so washing my hair everyday is too much of an hassle and strips my hair of natural oils and nutrients it needs. Most anti-dandruff shampoo labels require daily washing and use. That is out of the question for me. Garnier was perfect, I could wash my hair two or three times a week and not have a case of dandruff. Unfortunately Garnier Fructis decided to change their packaging ( I love the new look ) and the last product to come back on the shleves was the anti-dandruff products. I looked around all over in every store and I finally found it, not too long ago, about a week. Its new and improved. The scent is dreamy, it tingles and feels so good in the shower and best of all.....it still works. I feel this shampoo is irreplacable.

The Garnier Fructis Intense Cleanse Anti Dandruff Shampoo actually makes my hair look and feel really good. I would actually replace the sleek and shine for this line if it was not for the dandruff part. I received a sample size in the mail, so I have used it twice and I really like the way it makes my hair look and feel in the morning when I style it. It is actually very soft. I do have to research more about dandruff shampoos because I do not have dandruff and I do not want to start using them in case it changes my scalp in any way. It does feel very different when I am using it. There are little beads in the shampoo and it really feels like it is trying to clean my hair because it makes it feel squeaky clean. After shampooing my hair actually feels the same as it does with any other shampoo but when it is styled, it feels absolutely silky and soft, which is something I always look for. If Garnier comes out with the same line but not a dandruff shampoo I would definitely try it.

After trying one of the cheaper anti-dandruff shampoos for about a month, I decided to make the switch over to the Garnier Fructis brand. I opted for the Intense Cleanse Anti-Dandruff version, figuring it would always be better to have a good cleanse; plus my hair can take pretty much anything without receiving damage. I was immediately impressed on how this shampoo cleared up the dandruff the cheaper stuff left behind. Within a few applications, there were no visible issues and I still remain flake-free to this day. Now with a name like Intense Cleanse, you would think that a dandruff shampoo would smell like chemicals. However, Garnier has continued their success in the Fructis line by producing a pleasant-smelling product. I am not afraid to use this and then go out; I know my hair will look and smell just fine. I'll sum-up by saying I'll never trust a low-cost alternative again. Garnier Fructis will remain in my bath for a long time.
