Most HelpfulI have been using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Fortifying Shampoo for several weeks. I alternate between using a curling iron and straightener on a daily basis and I blow dry every day as well, so my hair takes a beating. Using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Fortifying Shampoo has helped my...

Most HelpfulWhen I first tried Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo I was rather apprehensive. Other shampoos in the past that claim to be "frizz-fighters" left my hair oily and didn't give me much frizz-relief. This shampoo however, definitely does the job. Besides the yummy smell, (which is common among all Garnier Fructis hair products) it gave a rich lather that made my hair feel and smell clean. The amazing smell had my boyfriend sniffing my hair all night after the first use. The next thing I really noticed about it was that my hair really was smoother. Usually after leaving the shower and stepping...
read full review »I like to use different shampoos and I tend to switch back and forth among favorite brands with an occasional departure to an entirely different brand. One of the shampoos in my regular rotation is Garnier and one of its products is Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Fortifying Shampoo, a shampoo for frizzy, dry, or unmanageable hair.
Shampoo Commentary:
Garnier makes many different shampoos under the Fructis label and I have used several of them over the years. Most of the time, I use the Garnier Fructis for normal hair. But my hair tends toward the dry side and it was this reason that convinced...
This past weekend I came across a deal I could not pass up. $3.13 for a new Garnier product that yours truly had yet to try.
Due to the lovely fact that this bottle came with two free trial sized samples, I could not pass it up. Plus...it was new! That word alone calls out to me. "Buy me... Melissa... buy me... me so good... buy me, buy me now".
One of the free trial sized products included was New Garnier Fructis Fortifying Cream Shampoo Sleek & Shine. Super sweet, seeing how it also came with a larger bottle of sister conditioner, which I will review later.

I've used this shampoo for quite a while now....my boyfriend used this shampoo and that's how i learned and loved this product. Before, I would usually buy shampoos from brands like Pantene, Sunsilk, Head & Shoulders, etc. from the store, just as long as they are right for my hair type. I didn't really care if i switched from one brand to another but when i started using Garnier Fructis, i really liked how smooth, silky & shiny my hair became and i loved the scent because it is mild and so relaxing, sometimes i would spend time just enjoying lathering my hair. Finally, i have found a shampoo for...
read full review »Wow! I just bought and used Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo Sleak and Shine! This shampoo has a great, fresh smell and feels so good while you wash your hair. I have always had very long, straight hair that tends to knot up. After washing my waist long hair, I was able to run a comb right through it without tangles or any screaming! I like the price and even the color of the bright bottle which caught my eye on the shelf in the store. I have told all of my sisters (they also have long hair) to check out this great money saving "poo"! I will certainly buy it again and will now try some of the...

The first time i used Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo my hair just felt great. i swear, it was almost fun washing my har with it. the sweet and relaxing smell soothed me in the shower. When my hair dried, it was strong and sleek, just like the company promised. its so hard to find products that actually do what they say they will, but this product is just fantastic. After using it, i was curious to see what else this company had to offer. All of my friends complement my hair...
read full review »I had the hardest time finding a shampoo that would rinse the oil from my scalp without leaving my curls dry and frizzy, but then I found this! For me, it strikes that perfect balance between cleansing and moisturizing. Plus, this shampoo takes care of most of my knots, which means that I can save time in the shower and use less conditioner. The best part is it costs less than $4 a bottle. I'm so glad I found this!
I found Garnier Fructis line and now use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo and conditioner, and Fortifying Cream Conditioner For Color Treated or Permed Hair, and Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave-In-Conditioner.
Sleek &Shine Fortifying Leave-In Conditioner
I follow up the Shampoo and Conditioner with the Sleek and Shine Fortifying leave in Conditioner. I towel dry my hair and apply the leave-in conditioner and let it air dry. My hair is thick and can become unruly so I find that it wears and looks better when I take the time to use the leave in conditioner. My hair stays manageable and...
I decided to give this shampoo a try because I had a coupon. The first thing I noticed was that the shampoo does have a clean, pure smell. Its not too overpowering and its not to fruity.
I have hair that tends to be oily at the roots if I dont wash daily, and the rest of my hair i would describe as normal. It's not oily or dry at the ends. Now, I also highlight my hair every 6-8 weeks.
I used the shampoo following the instructions on the bottle. I used about a quarted size dollop for my shoulder length hair. I worked it in from the roots to ends, and then rinsed it quite a bit with...

<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 14.0px 0.0px; font: 14.0px Arial;">I had always dyed my hair. I hated the natural color, it was flat, there was no dimension, it didn't even look like real hair. But hair dye is expensive, even if you do it yourself, and then you really run the risk of frying your hair, so I started looking for something new. I saw a commercial for another Garnier Fructis Shampoo, and I had a good experience with some of the Garnier Nutrisse line (it is a line of facial products) so I gave it a try. The shampoo's aren't too expensive and they really do make your hair... read full review »
