I decided to give this shampoo a try because I had a coupon.  The first thing I noticed was that the shampoo does have a clean, pure smell.  Its not too overpowering and its not to fruity.

I have hair that tends to be oily at the roots if I dont wash daily, and the rest of my hair i would describe as normal.  It's not oily or dry at the ends.  Now, I also highlight my hair every 6-8 weeks.

I used the shampoo following the instructions on the bottle.  I used about a quarted size dollop for my shoulder length hair.  I worked it in from the roots to ends, and then rinsed it quite a bit with warm water.  I did not follow with the conditioner as is recomended on the bottle, mainly because I find that conditioner tends to make my oil prone hair even more oily.

When I got out of the shower and began to dry my hair with a towel, I noticed that there was almost a residue, like I hadnt rinsed all the way, when I had.  After blowdrying without adding any other product to my hair my roots were so greasy and my hair was limp and stuck to my head.  I do not recommend this shampoo to anyone with fine, grease prone hair, It does not work.
