I been using this shampoo for a long time now. It's a great shampoo but I would not recommend it for washing your hair everyday because it would try your hair out!

Garnier Fructis Daily Care Shampoo is just that - a decent, all purpose daily shampoo that will get your hair clean, with a lightly pleasant scent. Effectiveness I have straight, mid-length hair that's not processed or colored. Garnier Fructis Daily Care definitely fits the bill for everyday use, like after you go to the gym. Doesn't strip your hair dry, so it does feel somewhat moisturized if you don't have time for a separate conditioner. Relatively inexpensive and easy to find, so you're not paying big bucks for a salon brand that is more about the packaging than the contents. Like many people, I do switch shampoos on a regular basis, so this is one that stays in the rotation but not for more than one bottle at a time. Scent I'm not a fan of strong scents, and this one is relatively mild and not overly floral. There is a bit of an artificiality to the scent that's slightly off-putting for me, but at least you won't smell like you just worked out!

I tried this shampoo on a vacation trip we went on and I was very disappointed. I ended up having to go buy a different shampoo. I have color treated hair and of course it is already a little dry and needs extra moisture. I shampooed with this product and immediately regretted it. I have long, thin, fine hair. This shampoo made my hair one tangled messy ball. I had the hardest time combing through my hair. My hair was breaking off in the comb because it was so tangled and dry. What a mess. I then went on the blow dry and style my hair as I normally would. My hair was so dry and frizzy. I was so disappointed. I did not want to go through the hassle of another wash, detangling episode and dry hair so I went out and purchased a bottle of my regular shampoo. I will say that the fragrance was nice and my hair smelled fresh all day. However, it was not worth the dryness. I would not recommend this to anyone with color treated hair.

It is not the cheapest or the most expensive. I love the overall quality and results. It also has a great scent. This is my go to shampoo. I always buy this unless another brand has a great deal going at the time I'm buying shampoo. I use it almost everyday and my hair looks and feels great. Effectiveness My hair feels so soft and clean after using this. I use other brands of shampoo sometimes if they are in sale, I can definitely feel a difference when I use garnier fructis. Makes hair easier to handle and even looks better. I get compliments on how soft and silky my hair looks all the time this is all I use in my hair. Garnier Fructis is as good or better than what you could get at a salon. Scent My husband comments when I use it, he loves it too. The scent also lasts the whole day, but is not too strong. I notice it when I comb my hair. I also like when I shampoo at night my pillow smells like it the next day. It is a very pleasant smell to go to sleep with.

I really like this product by Garnier Fructis, and it really makes me like the company as a whole. It is a great deal at most retailers, it has a rather lovely, fresh, invigorating smell, and it scrubs the scalp clean very well. As far as consistency, it could be a little bit thicker, but that is a minor complaint. It applies and spreads with ease, and with the right amount of lather. It rinses clean just as easily, and leaves a faint aroma that does not last for very long... or maybe it does, and my olfactory system just blinks it out, the way you stop smelling your own body odor. In either case, this is a great product with great value. It also doesn't dry out my scalp, as some other shampoos do. I would even recommend it for people with color-treated hair; and like I say, with the great price, you really can't go wrong in trying it. For the price and job it does, it far outpaces traditional name-brand salon products.

In my constant search for a perfect shampoo, this product has certainly been better than many I have used. However, there is still a long way to go before reaching perfection. Honestly, in a crunch this would work, but I don't recommend it if you have options like Suave or TRESemme. Effectiveness It cleans my hair just fine. I suppose that is what its purpose is. The problem is all the other things it does to my hair. After using this product, my hair is dry and breaks much more easily. I find that I have to give my hair several days to get back to normal, sometimes over a week, without using this shampoo. I want something that I can use regularly without damaging my hair. Scent Garnier shampoo smells clean and fresh, but there isn't as large a variety of scents to choose from as with most brands of shampoo. The scent of your shampoo becomes a way that people recognize and remember you. You should be able to choose a scent that suits your style and personality, rather than just the basic 'shampoo' smell that Garnier offers.

I love how it cleaned my hair and left it all soft and good smelling with no dry or frizzy reaction to report. I would recommend it to all hair types unless you want a shampoo for something like damage hair because this one is geared more towards cleansing and making it soft and manageable as a side effect. It's easy to find in stores and a good price as well. Effectiveness It leaves my hair clean, soft and healthy looking. It doesn't tend to get oily fast with this shampoo so that is a plus. I would recommend it to all hair types even though it says for normal hair. It even gives it nutrition from the ingredients they use in the shampoo. Scent I just love how this shampoo smells, it smells so good and the smell last for a while on my hair that people sometimes comment on how good I smell. The best is that it isn't an overpowering scent that towards the end you want to plug your nose so that you growing headache goes away.

This shampoo did a nice job of taking care of my hair. I didn't use it for very long, because I just bought a small bottle for an out-of-town trip that I was taking. It kept my hair nice and clean for the duration of my vacation and it has a really nice perfume. I don't think I will ever be a long-term user of this shampoo because I don't think it works quite as well on my hair as my usual products, but it is a good go-to if you are looking for something that will do a decent job on most hair types. Effectiveness My hair tends to be very sensitive to buildup and it gets weighed down easily, So I needed something to combat that and keep my hair clean at the same time. For the most part, it did a nice job of doing just that, but I am not certain that prolonged use would have been a good idea. Scent The scent of this shampoo is really nice! It smells very fresh and clean. It has a sort of summery perfume to it that is really pleasant.

I have super oily hair? I don't use conditioner because it makes it worse. Some shampoos leave my hair feeling oily only a few hours after washing it while Garnier daily care leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy all day long. Effectiveness Clean and healthy hair all day long. I have used some shampoos that, 10 hours later, make my hair look like I haven't washed it in two days. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy all day and night long. The shampoo does a great job effectively cleaning my hair so I can style it, straighten it whatever, and it will looks great all day. Scent Good scent, not overpowering. If you're looking for a herbal essences type shampoo! this is not it. Those shampoos overpower me and give me awful headaches. This shampoo smells good without being able to smell it all day. This is not a shampoo for you if you're liking to be able to smell the scent in your hair all day. It cleans hair without killing your sinuses, which is a huge win for me.

I absolutely love this shampoo. It is my favorite shampoo. I try to use Garnier Fructis haircare products faithfully, because it leaves my hair with such a great texture. If I try to use anything else, I definitely notice the difference after a couple of weeks. When I've switched to other brands, they always leave my hair with a rough, dull texture, so I don't use any other shampoo/conditioner. You should always make sure that you use the right type of shampoo for your hair type, otherwise you might not get as good of a result as you'd hoped. Garnier Fructis has shampoos for just about every type of hair (for damaged hair, normal hair, long hair, and color-treated hair, and if you use the right one, you should get great results. The price is always great for the quality you get, for sure. Effectiveness Extremely effective! Always leaves my hair soft, well nourished, and very manageable too. Scent It also has a great scent too.
