I used to use the old formula and it was really good. However, now that you changed the formula it makes my hair dry and brittle. The color does not hold like the old one. I wish companies would leave well enough alone.

I use to really like this brand, but after dying my hair and using this right after, I noticed my hair was getting greasy, VERY greasy. I started washing my hair everyday thinking it wasn't the brand, little did I know the shampoo & conditioner was making me lose my hair (bald spots) DO NOT USE AFTER DYING HAIR.

After I dyed my hair, I figured that I would need something to help the color stay in. I bought this shampoo and it not only left residue in my hair to the point where it's greasy every single day and dry shampoo won't even help, but also stripped my hair of colors as opposed to what it's supposed to do and keep it in. The only thing it did that it was supposed to was make my hair seem thicker. This shampoo is such a rip off DO NO BUY IT. Effectiveness Horrible Scent Shampoo smells good, doesn't leave a scent in your hair though.

This is a decent shampoo, my favorite part of it is the scent, otherwise it is just average. I have been coloring my hair for about 8 years and have tried a number of different shampoos and conditioners for color treated hair. When I was dying my hair brown this really didn't do much to prevent fading. Now that I color my hair blonde it isn't anything special for preventing over drying either. It's an okay shampoo does the job cleaning your hair, but it really doesn't do much for making color last longer. Effectiveness I didn't see any improvement in fading overtime. My hair color faded in the same amount of time with not using this particular shampoo. As for blonde color treated hair it didn't really do much for preventing over drying. Scent The thing I love most about this shampoo is it's scent. Garnier Fructis shampoos have a great scent. It is clean, and yummy and lasts in your hair all day.

I really love Garnier Fructis Color Shield shampoo. I alternate between getting my hair highlighted in a salon and doing it myself at home. Either way, I want my hair to look great and to protect my color. Coloring hair is harsh enough but I am also a swimmer and chlorine can wreck havoc on normal non-colored hair but it can be really harsh on colored hair. I have found that it really dulls down the color. I have tried various color shield / color protector shampoos ranging in price. I have found that Garnier Fructis makes a very, very effective shampoo for color treated hair. Besides being very affordable and easy to find in stores, it really does protect my hair. I find that not only does my color maintains a healthy look, but my hair looks and feels healthy. It is shiny, smooth and soft. I love that I do not need to pay a lot of money, to get a great hair care product. This product is neither too thick nor too thin, it lathers us really nicely. Not too many suds but enough to make you feel like you are getting your hair clean. It washes out easily and gets my hair clean without being harsh or drying it out. I like that my hair does not tangle (it's fine so it does tangle a lot), and it easy to comb. The scent is nice but does not linger on your hair once rinsed out. Overall, a great way to protect your hair, your hair color and get your hair clean. Even though this product says it is for color treated hair, my entire family uses it in the shower and we all love it.

When I color my hair, this is the shampoo I use to keep the color from fading as much as possible. My stylist tries to sell me the expensive salon brands and I've caved before. Let me tell you, it's not worth it for me. My hair is medium length and medium thickness with a slight wave prone to slight frizz at times. This shampoo leaves my hair soft and manageable without leaving any noticeable residue behind in my hair. Effectiveness This shampoo works as well as some of the salon brands I've tried for a fraction of the cost. It keeps the color from fading in between salon visits. Scent All of Garnier Fructis products smell amazing. This shampoo is not different!! I love the way it makes my hair smell and the scent sticks to my hair all day! It 's a fresh and fruity clean fragrance that isn't too strong. I find myself bringing a strand of hair around to my nose during the day just so I can smell this scent!

I am unsure what is in this product. After I tried it at home I was disappointed in many different ways. This shampoo made my hair feel very heavy so heavy my neck was actually hurting. Not only did it make my hair feel heavy but it also made it feel like wax. It has to be the weirdest experience I have ever had and it most defiantly was not a good experience. I straighten my hair almost on a daily basis. After using this shampoo and blow drying my hair I tried to straighten my hair. Since this shampoo left a waxy residue on my hair it made it almost impossible to get my hair straight. I did not know that it was possible from using a certain shampoo it would prevent me from being able to straighten my hair until I used this product. Not only could I not straighten my hair but it took me a week of using a different shampoo to get the wax residue out of my hair. This product has to be one of my least favorite. I will never use it again. I would like to know why it left a wax residue in my hair but I doubt I will ever find out why. Effectiveness This shampoo gave me nothing but a headache. This product did not help my hair after I colored it. This shampoo gave me a wax residue in my hair and it took me a week to get it out. After using it my hair would not straighten. It made my hair feel heavy Scent I really liked the smell of this shampoo but the smell was the only thing I liked about it.

It is amazing. I have tried a lot of shampoos. I have even bought the expensive ones like bioloage and redkin and I have to say I still love fructis. My hair color doesn't fade and it always feels really healthy. The shampoo is affordable and not over priced. I usually buy it at sams club because you get a lot for your money and it lasts a long time. Especially if you have a big family. It has vitamins that help your hair become healthier. They offer a more natural shampoo as well if you are not looking for something that helps color treated hair. If you have ever used the hair color then you know what the conditioner is like. When they are used together you will have amazing hair. It also doesn't dry your hair out like some shampoos do. Effectiveness It works very well. The quality, I believe, is amazing especially for the price. You can spend more on salon brand shampoo, but I think this works just as well. Scent I love the scent. It is hard to explain but I consider it a more fruity smell. It always leaves your hair smelling amazing.

I had bleached my hair and it felt coarse and dry. It honestly felt like it would cut my skin if i ran my hand through it. Then I found this shampoo, and it was like it was heaven sent. as soon as I started rubbing it in, it had turned my straw-like hair into liquid silk. It was an Amazing feeling! This product also lasted longer than my color treated hair, it is a great bargain and i bought the biggest size. Effectiveness This shampoo was very, VERY effective, the next time I change the color of my hair, you can guarantee that I will go and out and buy this shampoo again. It also nourished my hair and my hair seemed to grow faster. Scent The scent in this shampoo was heavenly, I found that I was going into the shower more so I could smell this shampoo. I would also find myself staying in the shower, because I felt like the smell of this shampoo had a calming effect and I could finally relax and destress.
