I'd buy Garmont Hiking Boots Again in a Flash

To the Point

We hike and I need the best hiking boots I can buy. I’d spend twice the $129.00 that I paid for my Garmont Flash XCR boots several years ago – that’s how great they are.

A Closer Look

These are considered day hikers but I wouldn’t consider them a light day hiker such as a trail sneaker. They can handle more rugged terrain for a longer period of time than a trail sneaker can thus the non-light category.

My husband was so disappointed in the selection of hiking boots he tried at a major sporting goods store, he bought a new pair of insoles to make his existing boots comfortable for a little while longer until he could find, "The perfect boot."
